Yeah, even for me. I didn't want the spurs because I felt they would be a boring match-up. It turns out I got more excitement than I bargained for. I guess I, like everybody else, want to watch the thunder and the nuggets go after it, but I am not going to be able to because the grizzlies are sandwiched between them.
If it wasn't OKC vs. DEN, I'd give SA vs. MEM a good amount of time. But it is what it is. One good thing is during halftime of OKC/DEN, that's 15 minutes of watching the 3rd quarter of SA/MEM. Plus, I should be able to watch the entire 4th quarter after the first game ends.
I know OKC is up and I meant to say this earlier: Game 2 is 50/50 in my opinion. Nuggets have a very good chance.
Lol Perkins did that because he was tired! When Westbrook got that rebound and took off he said F it and walked up the court. I think he's still not used to this fast paced style compared to the much slower half court game of the Celtics.
I didn't expect this kind of pathetic start for the Nuggets, but they are resilient and will come back strong. OKC is terrible at playing with early leads.
Gotta wonder about the refs. Smith clearly gets fouled on his last layup attempt, no call. On the other side Harden goes ramming into a set defender on what could have been a charge...instead they call a block..
There have been a couple of questionable calls, but the Nuggets body language and energy is terrible. On the other hand, the Thunder are clearly energized on defense, which is the real reason they have 31 points. One team came prepared to play, the other team looks distracted. But Denver's defense and OKC's immaturity will cause this game to tighten considerably.
This looks like it is over...but still the nuggets are one JR Smith crazy shooting streak away from getting back in it I guess.
