The way Morey has been talking the past two seasons had the fans of the Houston Rockets being hyperopic, but you cannot question the fans now wondering where all of his talk went. Collecting assets for the past 3 years and failing to deliver on a "superstar", telling fans this will be a special season before the lock-out. The way Morey handles his business is much like a politician, a lot of talk but little result.

The Knicks overspent for Melo esp since he wanted to go there in the first place. We had a comparable offer for Deron Williams but the Jazz didn't want to trade him to WC team.

I was all for Bosh and still think he would do well here but I'm glad that didn't go down. Patience, young lads!

Lol, you of all people are calling fans and the media short and dim sighted? Wow, what a hypocrite. You were the same guy saying Kyle Lowry is Chris Paul based off of one month's play. If that's not short and dim sighted then I don't know what is. Newsflash: Chris Paul is Chris Paul all the time. You were conveniently nowhere to be found after Paul raped the Rockets and Lowry late in the season. Also, I hope you watched Game 1 of the Lakers vs. Hornets so that you never confuse Lowry with Paul ever again as long you live.

All this BS about philosophy and Rick not wanting analytics are playing the players they got is just that. A pile of horse manure.

Adelman is no longer the coach because Les didn't want to play with him anymore. Les is the owner and he gets what he wants and he didn't want Adelman. Make no mistake about it if Les wanted Adelman, Rick would have been offered the job on his terms and it wouldn't have mattered what Morey thought. Adelman is not a Rocket cause he didn't play by Les' rules, Wasn't willing to play the guys Les brought in.

Les was excited about T-Will because he watched a bunch of highlight film and thought this kid could be something special. What Les failed to realize is T-Will is fools gold and has been all his career. He fills up highlight reels and box scores but not W's. Carmelo is the same type of player and Les coveted him dearly. Les is a dangerous because he thinks because he is rich he is also smart enough to make basketball decisions.

Do you remember when Les told the media that the Rockets had one of the best teams ever assemble in NBA history. Not the best team in the league but the best team effing ever! We are talking about Mo(I'm Hungry)Taylor, Yao (Rookie) Ming, Steve (I'm going to get mine first) Francis, Cat( forget defense) Mobley, and Bostjian (the first euro can't hit a 3) Nachbar. That was Les' best team ever to have played the game. It was at that point I realized Les is a basketball idiot. ANd he has done nothing to change my belief since then.

Watching Les get pissed and leave the stands after Adelman decided to play all of Yao's minutes in one half, was comical. And proof that Les was never in Adelman's court. It's his team he is allowed to what he wants. Adelman didn't do any thing to endear the man except win in the most difficult circumstances without all stars but make no mistake about it, Les did not/ does not want Adelman. It's not about philosophy analytics unless you are referring to Les' philosophy. And that iis analyze this. If Les was really into Morey's analytics he would have run some on coaches and found that Agot more from less and analytics would show they would be wise. This decision wasn't based on analytics or philosophy. It was based on Les personal feelings idiot basketball IQ

First off, I've never said Lowry is Chris Paul. The one time I said anything even close was when I said Lowry was way better than Chris Paul, both in basketball attributes and physical attractiveness. If you were too dumb and too slow to figure out I was kidding back then, I am here to tell you now a few months later that, yes, I was kidding. Better late than never I guess.

Secondly, as far as Lowry goes, I was one of the few people on here who have been calling for him to start over MIP winning, 20PPG scoring Aaron Brooks, since the first day he became a Rocket.

Newsflash: That isn't shortsighted. That couldn't be further away from shortsighted. That's telling the muther****ing future. b****.

Well, I AM talking about Les' philosophy then. He was the one that brought in Morey after all. Those two might not agree on every little detail but they certainly share the same philosophy.

Actually Barry Warner is right in his critical nature of our sports teams most often. Case in point? The last few years coincide to prove all of his critical talk lately has at least mostly been right.

Lol, way to backtrack, because you were called out and now look silly. I guess name-calling is your way of compensating for your hypocrisy and other outlandish claims that you've made in the past, lol. It's funny how mad people get when they're on their high horse and get knocked down with a little bit of of their own medicine. Usually I don't take what you say seriously. Even though you're very sensitive, please continue keeping us entertained.

Don't be so naive...Morey following the Clippers route...EPIC FAIL.
When has that ever proven to win anything but high draft picks!

If you are rebuilding, then why would you let go of a HOF coach that has the highest winning percentage of this organization with practically no talent and MORE Importantly, a PROVEN coach on supporting and nurturing young talents like Pat, CBud, Lowry, Brooks, Hayes, and Scola!!!

You can't always turn coals to diamonds like Twon't and Thabust.

Truth is either Morey is too cheap or too incompetent.

Stick to graphs and the stock market, because basketball really isn't your "thang." It's just hilarious watching you react in such a sensitive and emotional way.

So what? We all saw AB do the same ish to them and look at where he is right now. The Lakers have a dinosaur at the PG position, buddy.

And what about when Lowry raped Paul in New Orleans earlier in the season? I mean completely shutting him down and scoring on him. Even Paul said afterward that Lowry outplayed him.

Right. Apparently you stick to the higher ground of bashing posters - not players.

Thanks for wrapping everything up in a nice tidy bow for us. Let there be no more doubt or controversy, Clutchfans. CXbby has spoken.

Lowry was raped because Adelman had driven him into the ground to spite Morey for trading AB for Dragic. In any other circumstance the “stronger, clutcher, better-looking Chris Paul” would have owned the actual Chris Paul. Duh.

In all seriousness, I think Lowry’s ankle was bothering him a lot at the end of the season. But the OP is definitely the one who’s short-sighted if he thinks anyone who disagrees with his opinion is wrong because this whole thing is very simple. There have been a lot of good posts over the past couple days arguing why Adelman should stay, and many of them have merit. Just because he doesn’t like DD doesn’t mean every poster who also wanted Adelman to stay needs lasik.

Minutes have nothing to do with "the plan". You can either play or you can't. If you can play, you get minutes.
