They better improve this offseason because that isn't an easy schedule. I do like the balance of road games and, after last year, I'm surprised we got any primetime games.

IF they can get out of the first 6 weeks 3-3 or better they might have a real shot at the playoffs. My hope is 10-6

Why does Irvin laugh at everything as if he were listening to stand up from Kevin Hart?...

Love the bye week being late. Past couple of years that losing streak happens right after the bye week.
I'm confident that we will be 8-2 before we lose out and finish 8-8.

Wont be hard to predict the season

Kubiak b****es about how hard the schedule is
Texans draft 2 more tight ends next thurs
Win the last game of the season to go 7-9
McNair is impressed about the last game and gives Kubiak another season
McNair says the team was only a "few" plays away from going 11-5

Some of these Monday Night Football games are absolutely terrible. I'm so angry that we do not have ONE MNF game, while teams like the Rams and Chiefs get 2.

Especially considering we were voted the "most exciting team in the NFL" last season

Not even a sunday nighter... just a thursday game... away.

We can pretty much guarantee that Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf will call the week one game on CBS. The Pit @ Bal game will get the Nantz/Simms treatment. The other three games on CBS aren't any good, so that leaves us with the #2 team.

In week two I see CBS giving the Texans/Dolphins game to the #4 or #5 announcing team.

There's a chance in week three that the Texans/Saints game will be Nantz/Simms. All the CBS games that week aren't super-compelling. That game will be CBS' only game in New Orleans so they may give it the top treatment.

Lastly, the week four game against the Steelers might be Gumbel/Dierdorf again. The very worst would be the #3 team. This game will be CBS' primary game in the early slot. The other two games will be regional. Nantz/Simms will most definitely call the Den @ GB game at 3:15.

The Week 13 game against Atlanta will be a Fox doubleheader. Buck/Aikman will probably call the Packers/Giants game at 3:15. I'm sure the Texans will get some crew low on the totem pole. Maybe Chris Myers and John Lynch.

In Week 15 it is a CBS doubleheader. I see Fox sending Buck/Aikman to NY to call Redskins/Giants. For the Texans it will be another bad Fox crew for the Panthers game. I'm thinking Dick Stockton might be the guy.

That's only because the Texans found spectacular ways to lose. Although, you have to admit, watching Texans games as an outside observer is always fun. The Texans hardly ever get blown out (or blow out their opponents).

We were 6-10 last year. 3-10 against teams using their starting QB's. Honestly, this is not the year to complain about a lack of respect.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict we start 5-7.
