I haven't read every post in this thread, just skimmed. But some of you people who torturously argue this isn't racist just amaze me. And trying to turn this into an argument about political correctness is pathetic.

Political arguments oftentimes bring out the bizarre in people. The "logic/reasoning" some apply to politics would be found nowhere else in their life unless an insane asylum is their home.

    vlaurelio & rhadamanthus,

Yours and the mod's responses tell me all I need to know that me, as a conservative, is not welcomed here. That you, as a liberal will forever point fingers and do everything you can to railroad conservatives.

Oh, and the mods, thanks for officially turning this into a liberal board. Maybe it already was and I was just hoping the mods didn't get political.

(freaking unreal: the best damn fan site in the world is attached to the most liberal site I've ever visited)

Oh boo hoo, get over yourself. If you come around here and call black people apes/monkeys, mexicans wetbacks/spics, asians gooks/chinks, and homosexuals faggots/queers (in addition to flat out spamming), you won't be around very long, whether you're conservative, liberal or pastafarian.

The point is that arguments that seek to level "monkey" accusations between Obama and Bush are as nonsensical as the picture. Sure, I wish that we were in an age where a monkey no longer had an easily recognized racial aspect when referenced towards a black man, but that is simply not the case, unfortunately. That the caption clearly implied this sort of attitude makes the argument all the more obvious.

Now that I've clearly explained what is absurdly obvious, A picture of a fat kid holding a bucket did all that? Holy **** man. Pull up your big girl panties and walk that **** off.

Most posters here are liberal. The most inflammatory member by a wide margin is "conservative". If you can't deal with that, see ya. IMO, the mods tolerate baiting, thread-hijacking and obvious mis-direction that destroys legit discussion far too often.

If you honestly believe D&D is over-moderated, goodbye and good riddance. People like you need to debate...people like you. Have fun in the sewage pond.

Yet most here would defend the use of *****s by the black community and calling others a ***.

Well, I certainly would. But that's only because I'm a strong black woman.

Sorry, but I'm not falling for that. For one, you don't type like a strong black woman. Secondly, your name is ima_drummer2k. Black people play the bass.

    You've been exposed. Nice try.

I can understand a conservative poster feeling like a minority in the D&D. But, I don't get where you get the impression that the moderators are liberal. That doesn't seem to be the case to me at all. In any case, the guy you're defending is a freaking troll. At the best of times, the only thing rtsy ever gave us was a lot of copy pasta and name calling. He flamed out spamming the board with racial taunts. His banning was overdue. Is this the hill you want to die on? Surely there are better uses of your energy than defending the right of an obvious troll to crap all over our BBS. Thoughtful and sincere conservatives should be glad to be rid of guys like that, who only give you a bad name by association.

I am neither a liberal, nor am I a conservative.

I am nothing that begins with neo, nor am I anything that ends with crat/can.

I am quite simply a being of life. An energy force. And this energy force respects people from all walks of life, no matter where their roots come from.

What I do not respect, are small minds. And only small minds associate the use of Obama with a monkey. Only small minds use the past to hurt someone with a bright future. I will not stand to be on a board with this, and I am taking off my shirt as an act of defiance.

I will not stand to be on a board with mongerers of hate like Rocket Raccoon. These sinister warriors of filth are polluting the minds and imaginations of youngsters with potentially bright futures on this BBS. I will send my children to this website to learn about basketball and how to protect themselves from Islamists and when small minds are voicing up as an accepted part of the society we live in, it becomes accepted. Even child molesters get no reprieve in prison, they end up being raped the most as twinks. What should not be accepted, should not be accepted.

However, isn't this the same small minded PTA mentality that contradicts the 5th amendment? Don't we want the kids and posters like JuanValdez to learn how to differentiate between what's right and what's wrong on their own? Banning only appeases the masses (similar to fast food), it doesn't make the hatred and small mindedness in this world go away.

The 5th Amendmend? What does the right against self-incrimination have to do with anything?

Were you feelin the concepts and points in da red and blue post, jah?

first off the bat i'm a white republican...with that said, those who are saying it isn't racist are really obtuse and truly blind.

why don't yall go hang out w/ those myopic new yorkers who think they are entitled to the shuttle more so than that of houston, b/c yall seem about as close minded and heedless as them.

People that say drawing President Obama's head on a monkey is not racially motivated and are defending the drawing....were the same annoying kids that used to stick their fingers near your face and say "what you are you gonna do about it, I'm not touching you, it's a free country".

You know something like this is obviously wrong but you will try to cover the intent with a technicality.
