    Not really.

The Texans and Rockets both have talent. Again, look at the pre-season predictions around here and on other sites please.

This team was not composed of trash like you and others are now making it seem.

I guess Lowry/MArtin/Lee/Scola/ Patterson are all trash players now I guess. Lets be real here.

I'm not out here trying to make Rick look horrible but to say the Rockets have no talent at all is a insult to the players and acting like they had NOTHING to do with it.

If it was up to Rick again, we'd still be playing Brooks 20+ mins every night...hell he'd probably push him into the starter spot. He was not very happy when Morey made that trade even though it made the team BETTER.

I guess this is the "hard" part of being a die"hard" fan.
I just don't see the front office's vision here.

If he decides to continue coaching, I fully expect to see Coach Adelman in one of the four corners: New York, Miami, L.A., or Portland.
And I fully expect him to have much success wherever he lands.

The Rockets on the other hand......

Portland isn't gonna happen, they just extended Nate.

LA probably isn't gonna happen, they probably want to stick with the triangle and have BShaw on the top of their list.

NY I could see. Miami is a maybe if they do bad in the postseason this year.

Yeah, as much as fans criticize DeMarcus Cousins or Tyreke Evans. The Rockets would gladly hand over anyone they have now for those guys. Simply because they have superstar potential.

Les didn't offer Adelman new contract, not because of Adelman having done any bad thing, it's Les to change sth.
Les needs the Coach to play young guys
    Morey's job will be unsure

Never said they were untalented. Not right now, they at least have a core to build around.

Just the thought that them moving on from Rick was the reason they had their downfall. There were things no one was mentioning like Webber's injury and Peja's sudden lack of skills.

NY wont happen. They have accomplished so much this season and Amare loves DAntoni. They wont fire him.

Adelman's chance is in Miami, Celtics, or Clippers (I hope.)

star/all star wise, the rockets are one of the worst teams talent wise in the nba and you're an idiot if you deny that and/or don't see the importance of that fact. Of course people thought Morey had assembled one of the deepest teams in the NBA. That was when we thought Yao was coming back, Aaron brooks would continue his play from last year and the rockets had a very strong BENCH ( hence the term DEEP ). You are not going to win much with a team of role-players/ bench players.

Take a minute and gather your thoughts before you post next time. You might realize how wrong you are. Rick has pretty much been shafted each year he has been here, instead of getting the right players, we fire a hall of fame coach and are stuck with the same mediocre roster.

I doubt we get that Butler head coach, hes coming down to my school tomorrow to try to recruit our senior guard who just decommited from Iowa St. Looks like he wants to stay at Butler for another year.

I BEG of you to give me an example on what Adelman DIDN'T do besides WIN? Even with below average talent. So is the mediocrity coming from the hall of fame coach or stubborn GM who's sold the city short with "young assets"

I suppose, but you realize not every team has stars and all-stars right? The Nuggets didn't have many problems making the playoffs, and look over to the East where teams like the 6ers have made the playoffs despite having no all-stars.

Fact is, BEFORE the season all everyone talked about was how deep this team was and that would get it in the playoffs. Also some here even thought we were the next iteration of the Pistons.

I'm not or never said the team had all-star players. But to say the team had little to no talent? Really? After I hear for months about how good Lowry is or how Martin should be a all-star and how we shouldn't trade Scola and how much potential Patterson has. How good Chuck is on defense...suddenly this team has no talent?

    Give the players some credit.

    Listen, your obviously in denial.

If you truly disagree, name ONE team in the NBA with winning record with less talent than the Rockets? (Getting my popcorn ready again...)

Last time I checked he didn't win a championship. That is the ultimate goal, that separates the haves from the have nots. Almost making the playoffs two years straight preceded by almost beating the Lakers in a 7 game series gets you nothing. The formula doesn't work. Does that mean Adelman is the wrong piece? I don't know. All I do know is that the formula doesn't work. Coach + Talent + GM + Owner != Championship. At least this team has the testicular fortitude to switch out parts and try and create a winning program. That is where the comparison is apt.
