Took a while to warm up to him because I loved JVG's defense, but finally won me over. Big mistake for letting him go.

RICK THE RULER. Long live the ruler. It's a shame he was let go. Les has been taking great coaching for granted since Rudy T. It will come back to haunt him and us. Hopefully Rick can hop onto a championship contending team, he deserves it.

In to show my respects. Rick Adelman is a HOF coach and I feel privileged he was once our coach. An absolute disgrace that he's being let go.

Congratulations Rick. May you find a team who gives you healthy star players and a real Center.

I apologize for management not granting you this.

    I really liked Rick...

Thanks for the Ws, Rick. A lot of those would've been Ls under any other coach. Best wishes on your new team or in retirement.

...but if you end up coaching the Heat, I will hate you forever.

Rick was loyal to the team, and the team was loyal to him. I wish him the best.

A sad day in Rockets history.

I understood when Rudy was let go, I understood when JVG was let go but this great coach being let go just boggles my mind.

    WHAT THE ****.

I mean seriously, WHAT THE ****.

Any coach we get, we are going to be hoping/praying that he will be half as good as Rick. We just let go of the real ****ing thing.

The guy had a 59% win rate Rockets! AND THIS WAS DURING A TENURE WHICH HAD MAXIMUM PLAYERS CONSTANTLY OUT OF THE LINEUP.

i just read a post on another board saying "we need to bring in a defensive coach like JVG. We have the offense. Now we need defense." I cant wait for some vicious years with this rollercoaster.

Rick i will earn a few billion dollars on the interweb and then buy the rockets, so i can make it rain on you and sikma (maybe rj).

The way the current team is built and Morey's inability to bring in franchise players, even with Adelman, this team would be a mid to low seed in the Western conference. In light of this this is how I view this situation for Adelman, Rockets management and Rockets players:

Adelman - This is actually good for him. He overachieved with this team and if he had stayed, this team would be slightly better but would never contend. I think he deserves better. I hope he goes to a team like the Heat and does great over there. Once the players get his offense, his system is just so enjoyable to watch.

Rockets - I do not think they deserve Adelman. Morey failed to get a franchise player and no other coach will get as much out of the team he built as Adelman did. He is about to get exposed.

Players - We already know how the players feel about Morey and his "assets" program. We also know how they feel about Adelman being let go. Yes folks, the moral on this team is really high!!!! I feel sorry for guys like Lowry, Hates, and Scola and I hope they get traded to a team where they can win in the playoffs. They deserve better for the effort they have put on the court.

Morey and Alexander want a **** coach and they will most likely get one. I am not making this up....Here's the quote,

Morey: "We have mutually agreed to part ways. He is a Hall of Fame coach."

    Translation?

    Read my ****in signature.
