I say we offer Dwight Howard the coaching job, provided he also plays for us.

New coach will be a young guy, probably a first timer.

I know I am biased... but how about Chris Finch!!!

D-League title in year one.. we are going for #2 and there is this in his resume before RGV

Finch has been a head coach of teams in England, Germany and Belgium since 1997, compiling a career-record of 380-178 (68.1%). His teams have qualified for the playoffs in 11-of-12 seasons while finishing first or second in the regular season nine times. The four-time Coach of the Year has seven championships on his resume. Last year, Finch and Dexia Mons-Hainaut finished as the Championship Runner-Up. He was also selected as FIBA EuroCup All-Star head coach.

Can we ban everyone who voted for the youth Destroyer, the man who would bring in Ryan Bowen today and play him before Chase would get off the pine. The man who would call Oakley out of retirement before he would develop PatPat. The man who once said "It is not my job to develop young players. It's my job to win!! Young players get you fired and I will never play them. Let someone in a rebuilding situation take the time to develop them. I'll take older veterans every time!!"

Does anyone think that after Morey spent all that time getting young players with upside here, he would bring in the Dr. Death of player development to coach the Rockets next year?

IIRC, Bobby Knight is available. At least he would be entertaining as he throws chairs at referees who deliver bad calls. Of course, T-Will would either be deaf or earless.

People here sure do have a short memory. Didn't everyone want JVG out ASAP back in the day

Come on guys, that was not a fun time. I don't care how witty/funny he is calling games with ABC. That has nothing to do with our basketball team.

Has anyone mentioned Clyde "The Glyde" Drexler?

    I hear he's pretty handy.

I'm hoping for either "that douchebag from Butler" or Elie. Also, wouldn't mind giving Turner a chance if we're looking to go young and rebuild (see: tank).

Add SVG to that list as well if the Magic do indeed let him go if they are bounced from the first round.

what about Dean Cooper? Was on Rudy's staff, then went to the T'Wolves. Now an assistant in Portland.

Just throwing out another random name.

Why not the Super Gundy Brothers? Get both of them to come here. Boom. Then all we need is Courtney Lee to get the fire flower and light it up from beyond the arc.

JVG isn't going to happen. That would be Les saying "I made a bad decision." Not going to happen, so forget about it.

    I voted Budenholzer.
