BREAKING: Rick Adelman is out as Houston Rockets coach

Stan? WTF.... that doesn't make any sense. Bigtime no to Mike Brown.

 

I honestly don't see why Rick would want to coach this team anyway. He, like Phil Jackson, only wants to go with a team with a shot to win (nothing wrong with that). Bring in coaches that are good with youngsters like Larry Brown (just don't let him trade folks) or Sloan.

 

Time to put all our eggs in one basket?

# New Orleans assistant Mike Malone is rising on GM's short lists of potential candidates for openings this spring. He'll get interviews.

 

If Stan brings Howard with him, deal. Otherwise.. nahhh.

 

But if we get Mike Brown, or any coach with the last name Brown, I will miss Adelman more than I miss my stock portfolio's performance in the age of irrational exuberance.

Rick Adelman is out as Rockets coach, as @Jonathan_Feigen reports. "Mutual parting," source says. There was a gulf with owner and Adelman.

 

Yep or Sloan. A big hell no to Mike Brown. I would stop caring about this team in a NY minute if that were to happen.

 

I'd be happy with SVG, dude can coach and if it helps with DHoward...uhmmmmmm

 

why is the majority crying over this? He never brought us a championship or anywhere else for that matter. Please save us from the excuses. Its time to move on. Thanks for a mediocre few years, Rick. We played are hearts out this year...Cant wait for next season!

 

I have mixed emotions.. I liked coach alot, but im excited for a new future.. this should be an adventurous offseason.. hopefully it lives up to the hype better than last years..

 

I wouldn't mind Lawrence Frank, or either Van Gundy.

 

damn this sucks, management has really been slipping lately. i can't help but get pissed watching playoff teams 3 deep at center when we don't have one true center.

 

Wow, what a waste of money dude. If this is a sign of what you keep saying it is, "REBUILDING", then have fun watching the team lose next year.

It doesnt seem like they are so much upset with the record as they are with the fact that he seemed defiant when it came to playing the young guys.

He refused to play Thabeet and T-Will and only played dragic because of our obvious need at pg. He says stuff in interviews like "i dont know what im supposed to do with him" and "we didnt have a spot in the rotation when we traded for him and i already know what these guys can do".

I honestly took him playing Miller in the last 3 games(when we were already out of the playoffs) over Hill and Thabeet as his own little rebellion... even bill and bull didnt understand why on earth Miller would be in the game..

 

Were going to regret this desicion big time !!
