    My first impression of Morey as a GM was the JVG debacle. I think he was treated disrespectfully and shamefully. It seemed dysfunctional and disrespectful. But, eventually I came around and became a Morey fan.

    Thanks for everything Rick the Ruler...You were way better than JVG's uglyball...You made Rockets' basketball enjoyable to watch again. I would have liked for him to stay, but this is probably for the best given the direction the team is heading. Just no Mike Brown, please.

    This is more depressing than the Rockets not making the playoffs.

    I'm shocked and disappointed. I've always loved the Adelman style of play - even when he was in Sacramento. The fluid ball movement designed to get the ball to the open man - it's just beautiful basketball. I don't see how he can be blamed for the Rockets not making the playoffs in a year when our franchise player was only able to play a handful of games (in limited minutes at that).

    This is more depressing than the Rockets not making the playoffs.:(

    morey and les are the cheapest people in nba. Just like one agent said, no one wants to come to rockets because of the way morey treats its players. And this news shows nothing less of that.

    So now we've got one coach in town that's been given arguably more opportunities than anybody in the league after underachieving, and another coach that is let go despite drastically overachieving, given the circumstances, and with the best win percentage in franchise history.

    Go figure. Not surprised, but still...
