i know. it's under 2 minutes. this should be reviewable and basket should not have counted. this is going to look bad upon the L. use the damn replay if it's offered.
If the NBA doesn't change it's 2 minute rule to review ALL plays this summer we know the NBA wants to control games.
Maybe the "Stern" book says you don't review a play against the darlings of the league. -- Is it not? If it is and they don't Denver needs to send a complain.
I am so freaking pissed off. Why did the official ignore the whole Nuggets team and George Karl after they were signaling for it!?!? You can see the official looking right at the bucket, I am in shock. WTF STERN.
Agreed. Well, they CAN review it, but then what would that solve? The Thunder would be docked two points, but would they get the possession do-over? Would the Nuggets get the ball? Looks like the Thunder are going to win by more than 2. At least Denver won't get slighted by the no-call.
If they called it right the Nuggets would have got the ball back with a one point lead. I don't feel like Denver was screwed at all this game. They had plenty of time to score, they have not scored since...that's their fault.
possession do over? that's basket interference if they review the play. take the 2 points off and give the nuggets the ball. play on. it doesn't matter if they win more than 2 points. you play in the moment. playing with a 1 point lead vs a deficit is huge in a close game. refs blew this game point blank.
This call plus the call on Melo are going to be the story of the week. Stern will be hearing about it.
