woops wrong thread. anyway melo is a pos, they woulkd've been better off with Felton, Gallinari, Chandler
What a stupid play by Melo. He was so sure it was going in he wanted a buzzer shot. Never mind that if he shot it sooner the Knicks might have tipped it in. Did he even realize his team was behind and not tied? Should have attacked the rim instead. What a blown chance by the Knicks. We'll never know if Billups would have made a difference closing out this game. Going forward, the Knicks have no chance to win the series without him.
Please show me in my post where I blamed TD for the lost. Reading comprehension is important, you always fail to properly understand posts. TD made a clutch shot, so what? Billups made a clutch shot too. I said "no billups, no hope for the knicks". You replied with "TD says no". And I'm merely pointing out how ridiculous it is for you to think TD can have the same impact on the court as billups.
That's why he's aways known as the bottom tier of superstar. When he's off, he doesn't do much else but chucks it.
Haha for this one game/series maybe, but in the long run nope. Knicks just need to restock their depth.
That last shot by melo is exactly why you can't build a team around him, when the going gets tough he forgets about his team and teammates and goes into hero mode. Shows how selfish he is.
doesn't matter. bad calls happen. he has messed up so many possessions for the knicks that that call should be irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. he was literally a ghost out there. terrible performance for a star.
kobe does the same thing, but everybody would build a team around him. his problem isn't that. stars need to have that mentality. his problem is that when he doesn't score, he has little impact on the game. rebound the damn ball. shut down paul pierce. create plays for your teammates. his performance today was absolutely pathetic.
Lots of Melo hate going around, lets remember how he did in past playoff appearances... Besides, Amare isn't exactly mr consistent when it comes to the post season either. The one guy on that team that is got hurt.
well he did make pp shoot 6-16 and make some good passes towards the end. no excuse for those bricks. they need a pg who can distribute the ball. maybe they'll get that when they get cp3 or d-will
Even in the long run they would been better with Gallinari and Felton. In the summer, Curry's contract would have expired and they could have signed Carmelo. They would have had depth and Carmelo. You got to take the risk and call his bluff. Championships are built on taking risks.
Yeah, but a lot of people felt that with the lockout looming that Melo was going to resign with any team that he was on. So I can see why they did it. It's really about can they now fill out their roster with quality players? But if you can get a superstar you do it imo. Role players like Felton and borderline all-stars like Gallo are all over the place.
How the hell is JO -11 when he was the Celtics shining star for this game? Dude was playing like he still has cornrows on the Pacers. Big baby had the highest + - to and he played like ****. Tells you the falsity of the +- stat lol
