    I'm happy for Landry. If he plays well in the playoffs this year he might get a good contract. Earlier in the season he was almost the forgotten man in Sactown.

    And I'm always happy for Shane to get a chance to show what he does in the playoffs. The Griz are not going to win it all this year but hopefully his performance gives him a chance to hook up with a contender next year and get a ring.

    Shane was a toy of Rick's that Morey needed to take away in order for the Rockets to really flourish. Morey didn't really want Shane on the roster all these years. Rick kept playing him to spite Daryl or because Rick doesn't understand what players give him the best chance to win. I know he's #8 in all-time wins with an excellent winning percentage, but he would be even higher if he didn't keep benching the wrong guys.

    I think you're in the extremely small minority of NBA followers who think Chase Budinger is more qualified to start in this league than Shane Battier, just a hunch!

    Letting Ron walk was just dumb. We'd still be much better off with Ron compared to either Ariza or Lee. Artest was competitive.
