Yeah, I don't see No winning the series either way. But instead of a sweep now and lot's of rest for LA maybe NO can still win a game at home and at least take the series to 6 games.

I can't excuse their dissappointing late season performances as sleep-walking, their has to be more to it than that. They're were playing straight awful, it could be that the rigors of the long season coupled with their aging. "Playing down to their opponents" doesn't do it for me anymore. This is who they are now.

...yeah, when lakers lose they are always under motivated, sleep walking, not trying, not taking their opponents seriously, PMSing, injured, their pets died..... any more excuses?

CP3 is the MVP of the NBA. I don't care what anybody says, look at his team and look at how much he has accomplished with them.

they earned those excuses by winning two championships in a row.

I don't think 2 time defending champions need excuses.
It's not like they lost to underdog in consecutive seasons in playoff.
Guess whose fans always come out with excuses?

Let's get carried away by one game. Paul has had a subpar season by his standard.

It's not just this one game, look at the Hornets roster and then look at what they did this season. He is putting this team on his back.

It was interesting watching the last half of the 4th quarter. All season, the Hornets were one of the most 'clutch' teams in the league. Did it against the 'best closer in the league' :p

Don't think the Hornets can maintain this, but good to see.

Let's not smoke pipe out of our a** now. Its just one game and Howard did more for his team then CP3, in the regular season.

Okafor doesn't have much offensive game and West is out now. Ariza bricks everything he shoots and they start Belinelli! They played DJ Mbenga for goodness sakes.

okafor may not be an offensive force but he is a force defensively.

19/8 pf and a 10/10 center is pretty nice down low.
