i dont know what you're trying to prove, but kobe has a reputation of playing dirty when he's losing and cant get bailed out by the officials. there's probably a montage somewhere on youtube. get your head out of his behind
I predicted that because well, he's being guarded by Derek freaking Fisher, Paul would have one game where he would singlehandedly destroy the Lakers. I predicted that to be one of his home games.
Now the Lakers fans will demand that they trade Fisher for Paul. Wait -- Fisher is worth too much. They'll trade Shannon Brown for Chris Paul.
If Chris Paul had Rose's speed, Paul would be MVP every year. And I don't know what you're talking about. Paul's performance JUST happened. Sure, ESPN might have been covering Rose throughout yesterday, but the Hornets just knocked off the Lakers. Expect ESPN to have a headline like... "Paul buzzes his team past the defending champs" or something cheesy like that.
It think Jarret Jack's performance was overshadowed by Paul's JJ was fricken delivering when Paul was on the bench. Drew bunch of fouls, two great passes, and hit a bunch of tough shots and floaters.
Lamar Odom fully engaged in ghost mode... 7 pts and 1 reb in 30 min of action is absolutely unacceptable from the lead dog in the 6th MOTY race. Along with CP3 feasting on Fish & Gasol getting stepped on by Aaron Gray (!), LO's disappearance explains why the Lake Show were slapped around in Staples this afternoon. Tru Warier stepped up to the plate and dropped 16 and 11, including 6-6 FT. Once again, Ron Ron proving his worth when it matters most. Also, any news on Gray's ankle? With LA's luck, he'll be on the pine for the rest of the series a la Yao in '09. NO can't afford to lose him, as CP3 said post-game: "The player of the game to me, was Aaron Gray." Looking forward to Game 2 on Wed.
I know it just happened. I'm just predicting the casual basketball fans on message boards and such. I'm assuming Rose's performance will be talked about more even though he beat a team they should've beaten decisively. It was a great performance, I'm not downplaying that. But I thought what CP3 did was more impressive, even more so with West out.
Casual fan, die-hard fan or w/e kind of fan there is no doubt that Chris Paul performance will be talked about more because he did this against the Lakers and Rose did it against The Pacers.
In all seriousness this game might just be the wakeup call that the Lakers needed after sleep-walking through the end of the regular season.
true. i just don't see how they can let cp3 abuse fisher for the entire series. phil's got a decision (no lebron ) to make
