Wow the playoff this year has been very competitive regardless of seeding. If this keeps up, it will be the best year in a long time.

That 1st half was pure fantasy. The Hornets have little chance to win this game and no chance to win the series. All the Lakers need to do is play a little D and the Hornets will go down.

If Iam a laker fan I'll be dead worried .. Never seen Kobe stay down like that .. looks like he hit a funny bone ..

The hornets remind a bit of our 2008 team .. Theyre really grinding it out there .. If you have a great point guard who can take advantage of Fisher's poor defense you have a chance to win a game not a series though ..

Nobody defends Pau Gasol better than Pau Gasol .. he needs to get aggresive on both ends .. he needs a telling off from Kobe

Stern said he thought this was going to be a special year.

I think anyone that has been suggesting that the NBA should eliminate 7th and 8th seeds need to rethink that. Also anyone thinking the NBA has too many teams and there isn't enough talent need to rethink that as well.

I think there is MORE talent, especially since there is a large international pool of players now. Teams like the Spurs and Mavs wouldn't even be possible if it weren't for their international players.

How is it that all the lower seeds teams are drawing first blood in every game?

Every lower seed team has either taken an early lead or kept an early lead throughout the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Nuggets came out leading OKC by 10, only to have OKC come back and win.
