Nah. Dwight can drop in on any team and instantly make them elite. His presence is dominating. His size and athleticism take over.

Yao had signs of domination but wasn't a force like Dwight.

Howard has not been the league MVP (if that was intended by the comment or not) or maybe you meant MVP-caliber.

But I agree with stat freak John Hollinger for once. Don't mind that talk about Derrick Rose being MVP, Dwight Howard is the real MVP this year.

Now Dwight just needs to follow Shaq's footstep and take his talents to Lala land while he enters his prime.

I hope that doesn't happen but I have a feeling it could if the Magic does not make it to the conference finals this year.

Since when did Yao put up numbers like this? I always hated it when the YOFs pull up their head to head comparison because Yao had like a 5 year age advantage over DH when they played together. Yao was like 28, while DH was still raw as hell back then.

Wilt and Elgin Baylor did this also.

Since when is Rocket River a YOF? The guy had some foresight in that case, because he's been here since 1999.

LA is clearly giving up too much in that trade. They send Fisher, an expiring contract and two second round picks for Howard, then flip Bynum for CP3.

I have seen a few idiots randomly throw out the YOF label in this forum before. But you really stand out among this group of idiots by calling Rocket River a YOF. Have you ever learned to think before you speak/type? That's what your brain is for. Don't waste it.

should have kept Lewis instead of Arenas, but getting Hedo and Richardson still IMO was a good trade for Orlando.

I've heard this from a friend of mine. Looks like LA is getting a great deal out of this. I DO NOT want to see DH12 with the Lakers. Would rather see him going to NY or somewhere like that.

99ers can never be YOFs or TOFs, they were here at the beginning, they are pure.

I didn't call Rocket River a YOF at all, in fact I remember some posts of his criticizing Yao before. In fact he digs at Yao a bit in the very post I replied to.

I was talking about YOFs in general, and how they would pull up h2h comparisons with Yao Ming as basis for always saying Yao was better than DH. Looking at it again I guess it could have been read that way, but as many people already said here RR is 99er and predates the Yao era, so anyone calling him a YOF wouldn't make any sense.

P.S. First time I got repped so I could be anonymously insulted. LOL talk about the irony.
