I still want to see that replay of the out of bounds play that went to the Mavs. Why didn't they show it? It looked close to me. And why did Duncan get a spot over Aldrige? I guess we know why but yeah he didn't deserve it.
Without Roy, the blazers wouldn't have the run during the early 4th quarter. His playmaking skills are still there.
Kevin Love didnt deserve it. In fact, Love's age is older than the total number of wins the Timberwolves had.
I'm not a huge Kevin Love fan, admittedly. I had a friend at UCLA who knew him personally, and found him to be a dick. That said, he's the only player on that team who's worth a damn at all. The Timberwolves shouldn't have won a single game with a roster that pathetic.
Just wait till Wesley and Gerald show up. Kidd won't have another shooting night like that. If I were Dallas i'd still be worried.
I don't know, Beasley had some big games for the Wolves that led to wins. I just don't like how Love sacrifices effort on D just for extra rebounds on his stat sheet. Now back to the topic..
Roy is what he is now -- he's like the McGrady after the injuries -- the skills are still there but the athleticism is gone. At this point he's a good role player if he keeps his head.
If Roy still had some closing ability, the Blazers would have won. Without him contributing more as a scorer, Portland isn't going to win this series. Wesley Matthews should be ashamed of himself. Talk about completely worthless. At least Gerald Wallace snapped out of it and made a positive impact. Props to Dirk for playing like an MVP candidate when it counted.
He made 2 shots in the second half. He was handed 13 FTs on a silver platter. That's MVP to you? And he got roasted by Aldridge every time on the other end.
Yea Wesley Matthews was a complete no show...early foul trouble through him off his game. Portland will win game 2.
yes, MVPs get to the line often and make those damn freebies. MVPs find ways to score if they can't get buckets. those are called superstars. they know how to "manufacture" points.
