Maybe this was Morey's way of saying to us "You want your athletic, talented, but idiot player? Here you go."

But yeah, this has definitely been his worst move so far. It is a pity, as it's clear T-Will has the talent.

And that's not to talk about his first name, Jonathon.

The line seems ambiguous. I'm sure Morey will "see what they can get for him" with every player.

If the Rockets are desperately trying to unload him, then it would mean they have absolutely no confidence in his future. Because this is a horrible time to deal him. Morey is a business guy who understand the buy-low/sell-high concept as well as anyone. If he's dumping TWill now, it's because TWill's stock can only drop more and more in the future.

Adding T-Will to the 14th pick would not help. As somebody said, it might hurt.

The best we can get for him would be a 2nd-rounder. I would kind of like to make him stay here until he gets his act together, but I guess that isn't really such a good idea.

I see a win-win if we pay somebody to break both his legs. We could get a DPE, and he could collect insurance on the NBA career he was supposed to have.

    Just an idea.

And that's exactly what happened with Aaron Brooks.

Sounds like the extended "injury" was overstated..

Yeah, it's more like sell low before it gets lower. Brooks could have been sold higher if he was dealt earlier. But Dragic and a 1st rounder wasn't too bad considering the situation.

TWill looks like Morey's worst deal so far, trumping the Dorsey pick. Hopefully, he can correct this mistake like he did before.

I don't know why this would surprise anyone who saw the guy on the court. As soon as he came in, the offense ground to a halt and it was shockingly obvious. Got so bad that the other players with the Rocks had to struggle to not simply stare at Williams in obvious wonderment at his gross stupidity. Someone needed to b****-slap the fool upside the head. Too bad Artest wasn't still around for the job.

I love Ron Artest, but he would be slapping Squid only because Ron thinks it's Ron's role to stop the ball and going 1-on-5. When it comes to NBA offense, there's the right way, and there's the Ron way.

The squid is a "ball stopper" and cannot play within a team system. At least not yet.
He needs to change the way he approaches the game. Which is weird, because I thought he had changed when his imaginary fan/ball boy told him how disappointed he was with his play.

What can you get for the guy? a second rounder?

Naw, I wouldn't want Ron back on the Rocks, as currently configured, except for that one role... slapping Williams upside the noggin. Artest would be a bad fit, otherwise. Making Williams grovel in abject apology, swearing to be a team player? Ron could manage that.

[Chron.com] Ron Artest replaces Adelman as Rocket head coach.

Please make it happen. The team will be on national TV every game.

The first rounder we gave up was only lottery protected.

Finally. Maybe Williams will be good for something after all.

You rather Morey sell a Brooks with 0 value at the end of the season?

Unsigned point guard on a horrible shooting year, low point guard skills and no defense? It is a wonder how the Suns handed us Dragic + 1st for him.

You're right. Morey needs to learn from that and trade all our healthy players now before they potentially get injured in the future and lose their values.

A team should only be consisted of injury-prone players, because those players cannot have any lower value in the future if you don't sell now.
