    Really good article on how we have screwed ourselves over the last ten years and the fixes of the 90s aren't nearly enough

    two really good points. the revenue of the 90's was driven by real investment in technology that drove the economy and the stock market.

    the spending on two wars have really added to the problem

    from 2007-2008 till now the debt has risen from 8.7 to over 14 trillion. 1.4 trillion over 10 years is not nearly the problem it is sold to be.

    The real problem is the loss of lives, yet Obama keeps send more soldiers there.

    Yeah, hopefully though there seem to be indications Obama may not resist the desire of the hawks to remain.

    Many Iraqis and Americans wish us to leave and if we can put enough pressure on Obama he might do so.
