http://popwatch.ew.com/2011/04/06/the-office-finale-will-arnett-scranton-strangler/ 'The Office' finale: Is Will Arnett the Scranton Strangler? Also: Our dream plotline Along with Ricky Gervais and Will Arnett, NBC has confirmed the addition of Ray Romano, James Spader, and Catherine Tate to The Office‘s May 19 finale. With so much time between new episodes and all this talk of upcoming guest stars, it’s hard not to get carried away with dream plotlines. Office writer and star Mindy Kaling may have revealed that Arnett will be portraying the series’ most infamous character, The Scranton Strangler. http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/04/05/office-finale-adds-ray-romano-james-spader/ The Office is hiring more stars for its season finale: Ray Romano, James Spader and Catherine Tate will guest star as more potential replacements for the departing Michael Scott. They join the previously reported Ricky Gervais and Will Arnett in the May 19th hour-long episode. Of course, Gervais has said he’s not interested in playing the role again, Arnett was cast in an NBC comedy pilot, and Romano is on TNT’s Men of a Certain Age. Or, producers could just do a total fake out and cast somebody who isn’t even in the finale. http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/03/13/t...on-steve-carells-very-emotional-last-episode/ Steve Carell’s final bow on The Office won’t air until a little more than a month from now, but the episode’s director, Paul Feig, who just wrapped filming last week, is already warning that the audience should prepare for an emotionally-charged episode. “We were exhausted by the end of that week. You thought you’d stop being sad or stop being emotional, but every scene was, ‘Oh, we just did the last conference room’ or ‘Oh, we just did the last talking head.’ So it was pretty wild,” he told EW at PaleyFest’s salute to Freaks & Geeks and Undeclared Saturday night. Even the show’s veteran cast had trouble controlling themselves as they bid farewell to their fearless leader. “Everybody was kind of in a state of suspended animation. Everyone kinda knew and [was] pretending it wasn’t happening, but then we were rehearsing a scene with the accounting department, and all of a sudden Angela Kinsey just sort of burst into tears. She was like, ‘This is my last scene with you.’ And we all kind of immediately snapped out of it, pretended it didn’t happen, and we went back and started doing it,” he said. “But they had a great send off for him at the end. It was very emotional.”
Funny. I wrote an article about this topic today. http://media.gunaxin.com/who-should-be-the-new-boss-on-the-office/88359

It's funny when Michael (or anyone else) says it on the show, and it's ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS when I constantly say it to my wife....but yeah, it doesn't translate to this bbs AT ALL. Anyway, looking forward to the show tonight. Hoping Ferrell stays permanently but I know that's just wishful thinking. Ferrell in an office environment would be EPIC. Spoiler
Wow, that is REALLY HARD. You really think you can go all day long? Well, you always left me satisfied and smiling... so...
Michael's last episode tonight, gonna be a sad one but at least we'll have Will Ferrell for a little bit.
What am I missing? I really only watch the reruns, never really sat down on Thursday nights for the show, but with Will Ferrell tonight I'll be down.
