http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...delphia-76ers-vs-miami-heat-set-for-round-one NBA Playoff Predictions 2011: Will Miami Heat Bust out Brooms vs. 76ers? Miami Heat Look Poised to Breeze Past the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2011 NBA Playoffs Don't look now but America's most hated is riding into the playoffs feeling better than ever. The Miami Heat finally beat Boston and locked up a two-seed in the process. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have figured out how to co-exist. LeBron is the alpha dog on offense and is taking over a lot of the playmaking duties. Wade is playing much better off the ball and is learning how to get open while James has the rock. Plus, he is giving a 100 percent effort on defense as the Heat are shutting down other teams' stars because of it. Even Chris Bosh is playing his best basketball of the season after he was subliminally called out big-time by Wade last month. Everything is sunny in South Beach. Up north is a different story. The 76ers are limping into the playoffs as csnphilly.com explains: "With several of their key players struggling and a couple others hurting, the Sixers hobble into the final game of the regular season having lost 10 of their last 18 games and four of their last five, having dropped from the No. 6 to the No. 7 seed in the East, having jeopardized their chances to record their first winning season since 2005." Click here for more on 76ers vs. Heat. Philly has been a great surprise this season but it looks as if the party is coming to a crashing halt. Key injuries are beginning to pile-up. Lou Williams (four games and counting) and Andre Iguodala missed last's night game and both are expected to skip the finale. They have lost four-of-five because of come atrocious shooting from the floor. They have averaged 89 points on 35 percent shooting. Without Williams the offense isn't quite insync and its painfully obvious. Williams will be back for the playoffs but it remains to be seen if he can pickup where he left off right away. The Heat are peaking and the 76ers are streaking as the playoffs approach. Too much healthy, experienced talent for the Heat and too many banged-up young and inexperienced players for the 76ers. Heat win 4-0.
Heat in 5. I think Philly can steal a game. Didn't they say Lou Williams may return in this series? Not that it will make a huge difference.
Sixers in 6 They can't match up with Jrue Holiday, I predict this playoffs will be his coming out party!
And rebounding... Brand could be in 2006 form if they play their cards right. Heat in 6 though. I can see philly doing what they did to ORL in 2009 to the Heat.
The Sixers are the most dangeros low seed in the East not the Knicks .. They have wing defenders who can defendend the Heat .. There's no way they lose in less than 6 .. I voted Heat in 7 suprisingly only one other OP agrees with me
Always wanted to ask this Q since im also a Chargers fan , how come a Chargers/Rockets Fan in Miami ? Just curious ..........
Well I moved to Miami from SD. My dad always followed the Rockets since the days in SD before they were in Houston so yeah. I'm not a heat fan but my gf is so I got the tickets.
