Finally, the end is in sight. For 16 teams, today marks the conclusion of one season, and the beginning of another on Saturday afternoon. For the other 14 teams, they'll be cleaning out their lockers and counting their ping-pong balls. Thus ends one of the most intriguing regular seasons in recent memory. The playoff picture is still murky in the West... we will finally find out who will claim the 2nd, 3rd, and 7th seeds tonight. So here's the slate. I am leaving out the Rockets-T'Wolves for obvious reasons. Knicks @ Celtics Nets @ Bulls Wizards @ Cavaliers Hornets @ Mavericks- ESPN Game 1 Pacers @ Magic Pistons @ 76ers Bucks @ Thunder Nuggets @ Jazz Heat @ Raptors Hawks @ Bobcats Blazers @ Warriors Grizzlies @ Clippers- ESPN Game 2 Spurs @ Suns Lakers @ Kings
I think Memphis is tanking to get the 8th place so they can face the Spurs. My prediction for the playoffs matchup: 1 San Antonio vs. 8 Memphis 2. Los Angeles vs. 7. New Orleans 3. Dallas vs. 6. Portland 4. Oklahoma City vs. 5. Denver
Memphis game doesn't seem to be worth watching. Didn't they rest their starters in 4th against the Blazers or something like that. It's obvious they don't want to face the Lakers.
It doesn't matter if Memphis tanks. The Hornets are much better in that department. They will make sure and lose tonight against the Mavs. Monty Williams should deactivate CP3, Okafor, Landry and Ariza. Memphis started tanking one game too late. Too bad for them. The Lakers will beat the Kings and the Grizzlies will get Kobe & co. in the first round.
I think that if both Memphis and NO lose tonight Memphis will finish with the 8th seed. I believe the Hornets have the tie-breaker.
they sat Z-bo and Tony Allen the entire Portland game. Spurs/Memphis first round would be a great match up.
Heat starting line up. No Haslem or Mike Miller playing either, put hopefully a Pittman sighting! Mike Bibby, Eddie House, James Jones, Joel Anthony and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
You know Knick defense is bad when you let Avery Bradley score 3 times straight on you. And Von Wafer having 2 3s
man, i thought the heat were playing a bad lineup until i scrolled down and saw who toronto was playing. epic scrub battle going on.
