I think he is gonna rebound next year and prove that he is good PG in the league, But he is gonna wait couple more years because he'll sign another cheap contract this season.

Isn't it Michael Redd's contract year. I think the guy played like 10 minutes the whole season, he should get the award.

So does that mean our system was so good that it made those players better than they really are?

Doesn't matter that the report is from sports nation, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize Brooks piss poor play was definitely the worse of any up and coming player who was about to get paid big bucks.

I just can't believe we got both Dragic and a first round pick for Brooks. Morey did good on that trade.

dragic is a good back up PG...and the first round pick, albeit is in the 20s...lets not forget that brooks, landry and bud were all late first round or second rounds picks...so its not completely useless by any means

Dragic drops a trip dub. JCDenton's reputation as the GARM's resident punching bag continues.

The Heat or T-Wolves should go after Brooks even if it costs them.

If the T-Wolves can get Brooks they should try to send Ridnour to the Bucks for Maggette or Delfino. Both teams win. Bucks would be in the playoffs again if they had re-signed Ridnour. T-Wolves would benefit from keeping Ridnour but greatest need is at two-guard.

My problem with the whole "buy low, sell high" thingy is that you are actually using the players, unlike in stocks where you do not derive any other value from the stock apart from its market price.

When the Bulls had MJ in his prime, are they morons for not trading him? When the Rockets won their first ring with Hakeem, should they have traded him to the Raps right then and there to maximize his value? Its the same argument people use in campaigning for us to trade Lowry and KM, and frankly I don't see any sense or logic in it. If a player's value is extremely high you want to keep him, not trade him away for picks and capspace.
