nope, it's just getting blown way out of proportion, honestly nobody really gives a crap he said that because we all use it.

Is it a right thing to say, of course not. But people needs stop acting like NBA are full of saints and no cuss words are ever tossed around. This sounds like a kindergarten, "OMG Teacher Teacher, Jimmy said a bad word today"

Give me a break. They don't have to be put under a bigger microscope. Do you think the athletes of yester-year were any less vulgar or cultured? I'm not saying they should have a license to curse it up while in the vicinity of kids in attendance, but t's not up to athletes to teach our kids morals or respect either. That's a parents job.....end of story.

Also, ANY job that involves physical confrontations between co-workers will inevitably result in something being said or done that some other party will find offensive.

BTW per TMZ, Kobe has issued a statement about his homophobic outburst during last night's Lakers game -- essentially admitting to using the word "f**got" and explaining, “What I said last night should not be taken literally."

Kobe continues, "My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. "

He adds, "The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.”

As we previously reported, Kobe mouthed the words, "f**king f**got" towards an NBA referee last night after he was hit with a technical foul.

Kobe continues, "My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. "

He adds, "The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.”

You call your coworkers ****ing faggots?

The funniest thing is that Kobe didn't even get tossed. Tim Duncan got tossed for laughing.

The "Gay Rights" Movement has by far the most aggressive tactics of all the latest fashionable whiners out there who are looking for political/cultural power. PC-bullying never ends. (The irony!)

Honestly, they know that the more they shame folks for harmless *****, the more everyone will be too damn afraid for their reputation for potentially ruffling their feathers, being labeled an evil "homophobe".

Though I've got no substantial interest in tormenting gay dudes, it seems to me that the only effective way to counter this ridiculous social agenda is to give them the opposite of what they want: more 'f*****', 'gay', & 'queer' pejorative usage -- and w/not the slightest hint of shame!

Yes I would call a coworker a f***** if it is a heated confrontation. I use that words among friends sometimes as jokes sometimes.

Tim Duncan getting tossed just proves Joey Crawford is a big Fa***

Pretty much anyone working where the culture is dominated by young men. Think ibankers, lawyers in high-rolling firms that are too small to have been taken over by a "corporate" type culture, etc. Sorry if you're stuck working somewhere full of feminists or old people and don't get to enjoy the bravado of being an alpha male businessman. And obviously, even us alphas keep it in check around clients.

I mean -- seriously -- why the hell should Kobe be so pressured into pretending he's remorseful? They don't care if he's sorry. They're just trying to flaunt the fact they can make people cater to their b****ing. Not even the high-profile dare offend them!

Gah, that's n***er. And if not, what's the difference? Why do you feel like you have to call people slurs to win an argument?

That's fine, but people shouldn't cry when the feminists or old people get upset by the comments of the "alpha males". I don't care myself, except that a lot of kids idolize Kobe (which is pathetic in its own right) and seeing him go around calling people ****ing faggots isn't the best thing for them IMO. Of course, the media blowing it up doesn't really help things.

Yeah, because kids are so innocent these days that they never hear the words "f*****", and f*** and s***. Give me a break.

Yes, people are definitely over-sensitive, but there is also something to be said for showing a little maturity. Kids are already growing up in a world where this filth is everywhere and it is seriously dumbing down the culture. So punishing the inappropriate behavior of our role models is not the worst thing in the world, as much as you'd all like to justify it.

Again.. there's no reason that an adult in any venue need to call someone a ****ing f***** in public. Heat of the moment or not. Plus, what is Kobe even crying about.. the guy gets more calls than anyone.

The word f***** never has and never will hold as much weight as the N word.

The N word will always be a racial slur specifically for black people, and even the N word has evolved because black people use it so frequently that it can now mean things like "homie" or "bro". Although it is still extremely politically incorrect to use the N word if you aren't black because of the history of abuse of black people in America.

The word f***** has evolved so much that it means totally different things than just a slur for homosexuals. It could mean the person is being a b****, or being a dumbass etc depending on the context.
