Morey sold high on Landry but definitely not on Brooks. Selling right before a player reaches his low isn't "selling high." The time to sell high on Brooks was last year's trade deadline or offseason.

Morey had to sell before Brooks value reached 0/zero. Morey sure wasn't going to sign an undersized defensive sieve to a new 5-8m contract (based on his last year play)

AB didn't exactly show himself to be a great team player this year, but I think someone may end up getting a bargain for him since his value is so low.

I have a feeling he's still never really recovered from the high ankle sprain, and with his game being so much about quick lateral movement and maneuvering around taller defenders, the injury basically rendered him into a jump shooter. He was certainly not getting to the basket as much this year, and as a consequence defenses were closing out on him on the three point line. Of course, his shot selection was atrocious too.

But I think he might be a very nice 6th man or scoring point at a good price. He would be an asset to the Lakers or Heat should the Suns not re-sign him, and assuming he keeps his ego in check.

Do you even understand what it means to sell high? Maybe a graph will help you understand.

Do you even understand what it means to hold true on a promise? You told us you were going to leave, and yet you're still here posting worthless, idiotic graphs.

Obviously everyone knows what it means to sell high, but why would Morey trade him away when all signs pointed to him being a consistent scorer with a propensity to have a good head on his shoulders (at the time)? His lack of size was something the Rockets knew about from day one, yet they traded away Rafer Alston to make his the starting point guard of this team. It was his attitude and poor play THIS YEAR that led to him being traded.....NOTHING ELSE. He would have been a Rocket if he had just been able to handle the pressures of a contract year a little better.

I tried to leave but then people started emailing, calling my house, picketing my lawn, etc until I came back. The JCDenton fanbase is rabid.

Good I was worried my phone calls and picket signs were going to waste.

Anyways, what Clutch said. Bleacherreport & its kind are of equal or lesser value than posts by any decent Clutchfan. Aaron has sucked this year; but it's not like an sbnation post validates calling him a bad player. I'm just doing some preemptive damage control. :)

Poor guy. Hopefully, he can rebound from this nasty season.

Wrong thread for this type of discussion but I'll mention it anyway: if his value remains low I wouldn't be opposed to trying to bring him back at some point.
