No D in the middle, and little bit of bad luck. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xz9a8JmNzkM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
this is more of a nutshell on courtney lee throughout the season. flashes of brilliance and then doing something r****ded to cost the game.
All the Rockets need is an athletic shot blocking center and an elite level star, and they need to acquire these two players without gutting the roster. Sure, no problem.
the emphasis is more on that last play where they were able to score in less than a second. we were losing in the 4th quarter. that's Dallas. doesn't matter if no chuck or no lowry. we got swept by them this season includng pre-season game.
Starting Line up: Yao Ming Luis Scola Shane Battier Kevin Martin Aaron Brooks End of season starting line up: Chuck Hayes Luis Scola Chase Budinger Kevin Martin Kyle Lowry Damn
Yeah we also swept the Celtics, I don't see your point. Chuck and Lowry starting = .600+ winning percentage. Btw we won every 4th quarter against Dallas except when we rested our starters and they didn't. Yawn.
Rocket's season in a nutshell, or two? Preseason, Yao would take us to the promised land. With Yao, really, really sucked. Without Yao, sucked. Nice offense, zero defense. Post trade deadline, a playoff team. A little defense here or there. Better chemistry, or some other factors, really still a mystery to me. Next season, go Rockets! Management seems to be moving us along as best they can. Maybe Yao off the bench.
Overall a very disappointing season ... I remember after one early January loss just hating our team for losing yet another winnable game They cannot make injuries our excuse when POR, NOH continue to buck injuries and keep winning. Maybe for the first time, we saw kinks in Daryl's armor as he failed to make big-time moves. Only the performances of Kyle, Chuck, PPat, and lately Dragic made the season bearable.
