2 hour premiere tonight at 8. It's based off the criticially acclaimed Danish show Forbrydelsen (The Crime). Although it looks like it, it's not a run of the mil cop drama. Reviews are good so far and AMC has a near perfect track record with their shows up until now. (Even Rubicon was solid though it starts off slow as molasses). I love me some murder mystery. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/t2podjmVdug" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Ugh I know it'll be good and that I'll be pissed in a couple of months when after 6-7 episodes the first season ends and it'll be over a year until season 2 comes out.
It's scheduled for 13 episodes in the first season unlike the Walking Dead which was only scheduled for 6.
I thought it was very well done but the storyline just didn't grip me. Maybe that will take time. I'll add it to my DVR list.
I thought it was pretty good. I'd give a solid 7/10 so far. My only complaint was with background noise. I had to turn the captioning on to hear some of the dialogue over the rain, etc.
This one is going to be good. It reminded me of Heavy Rain a little bit (Ethan's Story). I generally do not get into these, because they seem to be a dime a dozen, but it was really well done. Sign me up for next Sunday!
I thought it was freakin awesome. yeah, the story of the girl isn't gripping yet, that's because the show is supposed to move through this one murder through the whole season right? I loved the characters though. I think its setting up for an astounding story line with many layers.
I hope (and think) you are right. There is tremendous potential here. I will appreciate the lack of hook in the opening two episodes if the tension builds slowly over the season. I'll wait and see. What can't really be questioned is how well done this show is.
Watched the 2 hour premiere and enjoyed it. However, that is the kind of thing that makes me terrified to be a parent someday...
What did that Mexican guy say to Linden in the hospital? Did he saw "two"? The show doesn't do a good job of cutting out the background noise, and it makes it hard to hear the dialogue sometimes.
