http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bao_Xishun Bao Xishun is 7'9" and 60 or 61 years old. I am guessing him lol.
This impressed the ****ake out of me... <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/a4qwPQJpv7g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I hate you! This lead me to research the tallest person alive. Took 15 minutes from my life. Interesting stuff though.
Um, Vlade Divac looks winded. (Wasn't he known for smoking a pack-a-day even when he was in the league?) How hard up are 'Nique & Divac for money? I like the thought behind it: let's get washed-up forty-something NBAers to compete against our All-Star team. That'll show who has the better league! At least it was televised on MOC[K] ESPN.
This happens all the time in every sport (baseball, soccer, etc) It's called an EXHIBITION GAME. Nobody takes these games seriously, except for you. You're overly sensitive. Anyway, Nique dunking at age 49 is impressive. I'm not even sure MJ can still dunk.
I wouldn't doubt Jordan if I were you, like poor Leno did. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/gDFzEupuys4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
dunkin don i think i am the oldest guy to dunk a ball in a sanctioned game at 6'3''. I was 53 years old. white man can jump. i dunked the ball at 56 in warm ups. i have the newspaper article but i realise that my achievement and $3.50 will get me a coffee. cheers, dunkin don down under
I actually think at that height and at their age their knees and lower back start hurting fairly quickly.
Honestly I think Wilkins just really likes playing, I bet Magic would be the same way nowadays if he hadn't had to re-direct his competitive drive at the height of his fame. Wilkins seemed to care more about playing than being rich, famous or, unfortunately, winning championships. Furthermore I think if we had the commercial interest in minor league sports teams, you could see top athletes playing well into their late forties.
