Chicago @ Orlando(ABC-Noon CT) Boston @ Miami(ABC-following 1st game) Rest of the action: New Jersey @ Toronto New Orleans @ Memphis Detroit @ Charlotte New York @ Indiana Phoenix @ Dallas Sacramento @ Golden State Oklahoma City @ LA Lakers
Miami really needs this win to help them psychologically against Boston. I know Perkins is gone but I think 2 of Boston wins came when Perkins was hurt for Boston anyway. On the flipside with Boston struggles recently I think this is a big game for them also.
biggest game for the Heat this season. should be a good one.... win or lose... Boston still wins the 2nd round matchup in 6 games. home court will not matter. And I think the Magic win here today, and beat the Bulls in the 2nd round. meaning, Boston vs Orlando in the ECF HEY CLIPPY, remember when i told you this was what it would be? And you said no way the Celtics and Magic could play?> ha
Why are you acting like it's a fact that they will play each other in the postseason, when you're just restating your opinion again? It's no more likely that they'll play each other in the playoffs than it was the first time you predicted it would happen. Let's just wait and see before you start bragging about how right you were.
No, Clippy acted like Boston would be the 1 see without doubt, so they would have to play Orlando in the 2nd round. I clearly predicted that they would meet in the ECF back then.
Sure they Bulls might beat Orlando and the Heat could end up beating Boston somehow ... that's not my point, nor was it our argument back then. My point was that Boston and Orlando, would get a chance to play each other in the ECF... a few months ago, that looked unlikely. So yes, my prediction ended up having legs to it, and can now actually happen.
see the importance of dwight? rose has played pretty poorly offensively vs the magic in the 3 previous games. no dwight today, he's 6-8 for 15 points.
so you were confident that CHI was much better than BOS and can take #1 seed and push BOS to #2 or #3..
wow what a shot by rose there. hubie used the right word to describe it: "cagy" orlando matches up very well with chicago. it's going to be a great 2nd round matchup. i assume you haven't seen that ESPN has put up all the #1 rankings on the defensive end for the chicago bulls. EDIT: nelson with the halfcourt buzzer beater. why orlando is in the game right now: 7 offensive boards and 45%fg. 2 things the bulls dominate, and they're not dominating right now.
yeah and if espn put up rose as mvp no one can even argue it or have different opinion i'm just saying, if you use this single game to make a case against drose as mvp, this same game isn't really helping dhowards case for mvp as well.. you're not valuable to your team if you're missing games because of stupid/immature/whiny acts
i'm not going to go into this further with you b/c rose will win the MVP. i never said anything about howard being MVP in previous post. all i said was howard's loss made it easier for rose to penetrate and it is. the magic's defense is absolutely atrocious right now. why do you have to make everything into an MVP type of thing? give it up already. all i said was the magic are in the game simply b/c of this. the bulls are not dominating the things that they usually are: defense and rebound. i'm analyzing THE GAME, not the MVP race.
okay lets stick to the game give some props to the magic players who are actually in the game.. they are hustling, rebouding, defending, agressive on O, moving the ball, and actually playing as a team at a high-level right now.. that's why their keeping it close.. and not because chi is having a bad game or something..
Well t_mac, it appears you've won one bet with goodbug. I'm thinking the second one will result in another win. On that note, I can't believe that even with a record losing streak, that the Cavaliers have a chance to not end up with the worst record in the league.
