    Quotations from Hayes and Budinger:

Sure, you might say players don't throw coaches under the bus... but I think this is sincere. You don't hear guys talking about John Kuester in Detroit the same way, do you?

If the Rockets were 28-51 like Detroit, do you think they would be saying the same thing?

With Adelman, Detroit is likely better than 28-51.

i hope RA stays for one last run. he has wat it takes to make this team better but the bigger question is, does RA want to coach a rebuilding team with no star? Tough choice for someone his age.....

I'm fine with bringing the coaches back. I'm a bit worried about staying status quo on the roster, not that I think Morey has those plans. This team as assembled and healthy is a playoff team next year but not a championship team, and I'm not sure we have anyone that's we're waiting to develop into the superstar that leads us there.

Keep Lowry, Hayes, Patterson for sure and don't be afraid of using anyone else as needed in a trade.

i can see that. adelman is really loved by a lot of players. i'm sure if we were 28-51, the players would point to yao's injury and other factors as the reason other than poor coaching.

Good, intelligent, team-oriented, winning ballers want to play for Adelman because his sytem lets them touch the basketball and use the creativity in their basketball minds. He's a great coach.

We would never see that because Rick Adelman is Rick Adelman, coaching extraordinaire

Bud would want Adelman back. Bud isn't even a starting SF in the NBA unless Rick is the Coach. another teachers pet.

We'll see what Morey does. Bad teams loooove their coahes. Just look at the Texans.

No, but I heard the Rockets talking about Jeff Van Gundy the same way and that didn't seem to stop Les/Morey.

As much as i like adelman I think he needs to go, unless we can pick up some major talent in the off season, he is a coach that will keep us in mediocrity with this team, we need a star player.... or at least a change of direction for good or bad.

They're just trying to be nice with comments, players have to enjoy the coach's system
and be a team player- or else it would be, them, who gets traded jk. I would vote Rick back in, as well.

Enlighten me, how are the rockets a BAD team? We are not a great team, but we still won more than we lost.....

Some people have higher standards for the team. Some people see missing the playoffs as us being a bad team. Others see us missing the playoffs and think we're two pieces away from a championship.

We are a couple pieces away from being a championship contender. We are a couple pieces and some luck away from a championship. We are also a couple pieces away from being a bottom feeder. Subtract Lowry and Hayes and this team collapses to the cellar. Add a legit center and a good upgrade at the SF and we are pushing 60 wins and a top 4 playoff seeding.

So you want to drop one of the best coaches in the NBA because he led a team with deficiencies in the worst spots to an above .500 record. What coach out there would do any better. And if you're going to say mike brown, don't even waste your time typing that garbage.

Change of direction for the bad sounds great. Can't wait to watch that team.
