it doesn't take a whole lot of time reading through this thread to see where the majority of personal insults have been coming from.

But seriously, think about it.

 

several people. mc mark even called for his arrest. and worse, we now have senators (republican and democrat) calling for new legislation that would outlaw such acts.

do the imams share some of the blame for telling their flock to go out and murder innocent people? what about kharzi? what about the media, who gave the book burner the platform he wanted.

if i go out and burn a koran and nobody reports on it and no imams get their flocks riled up will anyone die?

I've said the same thing to DD during the Draw Muhammad fiasco: what started out as elegant and classic trolling has degenerated into a sick mental obsession between certain people that they no longer remember their objectives. The responses just come pouring in automatically as long as certain keywords are mentioned.

 

I have not read any of this thread. From the topic I expected it to lead to something not worth following.

Now my problem. Often when you see that a thread whose title looked moronic continues suspciously long you see that it has gradually morphed into a worthwhile discussion of something, not necessarily the orignal topic.

Can someone tell me if by chance that it has happend in this thread and I shoud spend some of my prcecious time on eartth starting at the beginning?

 

I've only done a small random sampling (I was updating my sample set when I saw your post), and so far it seems like a steaming pile of ****. Maybe there's something good in here, but I've only happened upon trolling and counter-trolling. If you find something worth reading, give me a shout.

 

In the D&D? Never seen it. Any thread past 5 pages has pretty much imploded.

In the hangout, however -- those are the can't miss. And if there's ever a 2+ page thread in the Buy&Sell -- there's probably gold in there somewhere.
