    why not hold players accountable?

we had chances with the game in our own hands and we didn't not take advantage of them.

i analysis player accountability and execution instead of crying about refs.

    thats the cheap way out.

Who the ef is crying? It's a legitimate concern. The Rockets don't get any star treatment (nor should they).. all I've wanted was for the calls to be even. I don't think that's asking for much.

Google is the most overrated search engine ever... Does anybody have the fines break down? How much for a technical, flagrant 1 and flagrant 2?

i'm not ignoring the players (they needed to play better in the last five minutes) i'm simply stating that those fouls would've swung the game in our favor

The rockets have nice players. They will let teams back in the game because they're poor defensively. The rockets best player, martin or scola are should be the 3rd best player. They have a bunch of system players. In the end, they are just not good enough.

you're right. we shouldn't get star calls because we have none.

no matter what as a rockets fan you will always feel that the calls were not even just like opposing fans from the opposing perspective say things like (WTF? MARTIN JUST RAN INTO HIM AND THAT'S A FOUL?)

i read other nba forums and the general consensus by opposing fans is the rockets get favorable calls so it's all subjective.

Yes, I had agreed it was on us and not the refs, if anything this game epitomizes the whole season and thus this roster, they're good but not good enough, a lot of effort but to fall short at the end.

You didn't answer my questions, my intention was to show you that besides everything else, questionable calls are to be questioned, that's it.

To an extent I will agree with you. We dropped this game as much as the refs boned us. It's not just this game that ticks me off, it's the season. Honestly, it's just that we don't get respect that ticks me off. Last night we lost to a Sacramento team that wanted it more. I didn't get on here and attack the refs. Where there bad calls? Sure, but Houston let it get out of hand. You can't tell me that 4 personal fouls in under two minutes of the 4th is down the middle officiating. It was an overreaction to BM's flagrant, and the only reason BM got a flagrant was because the game was out of hand physical. The refs were inconsistent and plain and simply lost on the court. They couldn't handle these two teams, and for some reason Houston came up with the short end of the stick...

    The Rodney Dangerfield Rockets...

all i'm saying is we should'nt have to rely on favorable calls to win games.

that's why that 7 game series between us and the lakers is special because we seized the moment and won games despite some awful calls the lakers we're getting by contesting and making shots.

I blame the way the league is called... Some refs automatically assume that if somebody, in this case Chuck, is not the right size there is no way the opposition that is a half a foot taller could not score without a foul to have occurred. I think refs assume that and call the foul on Chuck anyways and disregards the fact of the matter. Honestly when I think about how dirty and slimey this league is with officiating, I feel I have to pretend to watch a game at times. It's that bad of a feeling knowing that games can be rigged and refs are never liable for bad stretches officiating.

In an ideal world everything would be fair so you might be asking for more than you realize. CLICHE ALERT: Life and NBA isn't fair, sadly. Gotta want it. Gotta take it.

we shouldn't have to rely on favorable calls but those non calls change the game and they mess with a players morale. And btw those weren't favorable calls they were clear cut fouls which should've been called on the hornets
