To me the four finalists are Haley, Pia, James and Scottie. I just don't feel like most people like Haley. I don't get it. She is awesome.
this week only in tiers: Scotty Haley Pia - really great vocals, just somehow didn't wow as much as the 2 above..maybe a victim of expectations for me Stefano - didn't like the end/last note or the actual song, but pretty solid..better than others James Paul - better than he's been in a while Jacob Casey - has been a favorite for me, but this week was terrible Lauren projected bottom 3: Paul, Jacob, Stefano...Jacob leaves
What a love-fest tonight was, my goodness. Everybody was apparently perfect in every way and could do absolutely no wrong, according to the judges. Anyways, here is how I would rank them this week: 1 -- Haley -- Perfect song choice + Great performance means nobody could beat her tonight. 2 -- Scotty -- I haven't been a big fan of his because I knew exactly what was coming every week... but this week he surprised me a bit by going with Elvis, and even though I'm not a fan of Elvis, I really like what Scotty did. 3 -- Pia -- Damn near perfect vocals, as usual, but there just seemed to be something missing to me. I guess I was just really hoping she would completely rock out. 4 -- James -- I'm not a big fan of that song, but James did a pretty damn good job. 5 -- Paul -- Never been a fan of his but he took a step up this week, in my mind. I liked his performance. 6 -- Lauren -- She tried to stretch herself vocally, but didn't succeed as well as I hoped she would... disappointing, really. 7 -- Casey -- When he said he was doing that CCR song, I got a big smile on my face because it seemed like a great choice, but his vocals were off and he really disappointed me. 8 -- Jacob -- I really wish he would have stuck with Let's Get It On. I've been waiting for him to get out of his comfort zone and that was the perfect opportunity, but he passed on it and went with a typical song choice. 9 -- Stefano -- I love that song, but he just ended up showing me how truly mediocre he is. There's pretty much no way he is going to win and I think it's time for him to go.
I don't know about American Idol, some of these singers are just crap, and the one that can really sing gets booted? I guess you have to blame the people who vote, or the people who don't vote. I've never participated in the voting, but I've never had any real problems with who gets voted out until today, Anyway, I think Pia may end up being a big star, she's got the voice and the looks. And that goofus Paul is still in the contest?
LOL I was seriously about to write the same exact thing. She'll probably be gone next week though at this rate and the finals will be Scotty McGaySmirk vs. Paul McDonald, which would forever bury this show
Awful... The best pure singer in the entire group was just sent home and guys like Stefano and Paul are still there. Horrible voting. But, honestly, this is what happens when the only "bad" thing the judges say all night about anybody is that Pia needed to "work on her movements." Simon would have completely ripped half of those performances apart and Pia would still be in the competition because of it.
Muahaha. I didn't watch it tonight because I'm already done with this show since last week. This show have become more of a joke now. I'm pretty sure majority are teenage girls that are now watching and voting for the guys.
Agreed. Their worthless shower of praises have finally hurt the show for real. Hope they wake up after this.
