At least we'll see Landry, and two top quality PGs

    Rockets - 98
    Hornets - 96

Rockets eek out a win tonight, the board erupts in to a frenzy and hops back on board ("Playoffs?", "We can do it! Hope restored", "So resilient!", etc), only to abandon ship yet again after a crushing loss to the Clips at home ("Fire Adelman", "Bud and Scola need to go ASAP!", "I'm depressed", etc).

Lowry embarrassed CP3 in that close win in late Feb, holding him to 6 pts on 2-12. Landry will play inspired ball and drop 16+ like he usually does against Houston, but Ariza's going to go full r****d and cost the Hornets a shot at the game... expect a heavy dose of contested jumpers and turnovers. NO's going to be feeling the heat, and the Rockets should come out looser and more relaxed. Martin will thrive in this atmosphere, and drop 30+.

Here's a read from the Times-Picayune on Ariza's mindset heading in to the game... he experienced a period of "disbelief" following the trade last summer, saying, "“In the back of your mind, it was like, ‘For real?’ But then you get past that, especially when you get into the locker room with a group of guys who are good guys and have the same motives as you do.”

After this game it is the start of the offseason or the start of the 4-0 streak to finish off the season strong. 4-0 is a long shot but if done can get the team into the playoffs. GO ROCKETS!!! Defender of the Faith.

I think I would keep him in the D-League..

Thabeet is playing in the NBDL playoffs and a chance to defend the Vipers D-League title, I think at this point those games are going to be more intense then the remainder of the Rockets (pointless) games.

Memphis still has to play Clippers, Kings, Trailblazers all who match the size of the Grizz, and they also play the hornets so chris paul can rape them. We have to win all of these games left. 10% hope though.

Use it or lose, make or break. This should be very entertaining.

I sense this game thread is going to very very desolate during the game. Our playoff shot is gone so just going to watch with no worries. Going to savor these last moments before the long break until next season (if their is one).

I'm all for leaving Thabeet in the valley. Possibly winning a championship with the Vipers would be a huge confidence boost for him.
