Wiki: Bison were hunted almost to extinction in the late 19th century primarily by market hunters and were reduced to a few hundred by the mid-1880s.
Howabout he donate a lot of money to an elephant relocation and preserve program or he help the villagers start an ecotourism program so they can make money off of the elephants without killing them.
Who cares why he did it... it is irrelevant. The situation is very complex. On one hand everyone wants to preserve nature and elephants. On the other hand people need to eat, and they are just doing what they feel in necessary to survive. We cannot judge them too harshly, as we have done the same erradicating species and abusing nature in our country.
herein, lies the issue... humans need to stop being so high and mighty over the Earth. we are animals too, from the elephants perspective...
Are you actually suggesting the villagers in the video don't have the capability to kill an elephant?
I wouldn't exactly say i'm an expert on elephants in particular heh. True, but if these animals had the need to attack a human(and that person didn't have a weapon) and kill said person they wouldn't really think twice about it. While Humans are trying to save tigers from going extinct, it still doesn't stop a tiger from attacking a human. Also since humans are also animals, they fit right into mother natures cruel 'Only the strong survive' law.
The villagers don't have the money to pay off the corrupt government to be allowed to kill and eat it.
we definitely dont share the same political views but I agree with your statement. I'm glad I don't host with godaddy. Screw him
How the **** can this @sshole be call a humanistic? A logical and humanistic person would kill two birds with one stone is to find a solution to relocate the elephants and help the farmers and their crops.
