The thing is, given that you claim to be able to practice law in Germany and New York, coupled with your well-documented bigotry, your opinion counts even less than the average person.

It's like a racist doctor. Completely invalidates the qualification.

Just keep defending putting rape victims into jail for 8 months, and keep hoping that an old man lives in fear for the rest of his life.

That says all anyone ever needs to know about your character.

You can retract it, qualify it, sugarcoat it, wiggle and write 10,000 words in each post, the fact remains the same:

You have no moral authority to speak about anyone else.

My understanding of constitutional law is rather limited, but I did took a course on the 1st amendment a long time ago. And in Cohen v California, the SC ruled that you have the right to be offensive (Justice Harlan's famous phrase: one's vulgarity is another's lyrics)
I think the burning of the Koran is offensive but the pastor did not violate any U.S laws and therefore is not responsible for the violence according to US laws.

The mob violence is one hundred percent the responsibility of those committing it, always, no exceptions, ever.

I think the vast majority of posters here feel the same way about you.

Are you racist or are you just stupid?

Keep telling yourself that, Mr. "I create a fake online neo-con personality".

Neither. You, on the other hand, are dumb as a rock.

    Sadly, he's right.

You've said some pretty heinous stuff on here over the years with regards to personal freedom being trumped by culture and religion.

It's hard to take you seriously in these discussions when you waffle and try to obfuscate both yours and the overall point so often.

Oh please, that's just ridiculous. I absolutely hate and despise culture. Why on earth would I say anything to that effect?

As for religion, you make it seems as though religion is the anti-freedom. Everything I've said related to religion is to enhance freedoms, not the other way around.

If anything, your comments show me that you have a prejudiced view.

i highly doubt it - and in the unlikely event that did happen the people who killed him would be charged with murder and you would not have christians going around saying that he deserved it or that the murders were just as "immoral" as the book burner like Hydhypedplaya claims.

is it his statue or his he destroying others property?

and the difference b/t your analogy and what jones did is that jones burned a koran on his private property - he didnt do it infront of a mosque.

again, jones burned a koran on his private property - he didnt go infront of a mosque.

no its not - americans dont go around murdering innocent people b/c they saw a "hate video".

burning an effigy of someone in their own front yard (private property) is very different than burning a book on your private property. do you really not see the difference?

Why are you always so angry? Is this why you don't practice Law anymore? Did your random outbursts get you banished from society? Are you under house arrest?

I do see the difference. So basically if such immoral, vile and disgusting acts occur on Private Property, it is freedom of Speech....

I wonder if AroundTheWorld secretly jacks off to videos of Quran burnings? But of course, he is completely objective when it comes to these things...:p
