HBO has a nice casting page with a video profile of each character http://www.hbo.com/game-of-thrones/cast-and-crew/index.html
my favorite trailer yet <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tod9DorIASQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
First 15 minute pre-view. Wow. http://www.makinggameofthrones.com/production-diary/2011/4/3/exclusive-sneak-preview-watch-the-first-few-scenes-of-game-o.html
I've watched all the other previews but I'm trying to resist watching the 15 minutes of the episode preview. It's very hard, but I'm trying.
All I see is a white screen, for some reason the video is not loading. Can anyone think of why this is? Solutions?
I'm honestly not to familiar with the story but the reviews seems positive and all the excitement here has me very intrigued. The preview sealed the deal for me, great stuff and already has me hooked.
Fantastic preview. It DID go fast. I may need to reread the series now. It's been a few years. Had to get my on my PC to watch it. You might need to update Flash.
Damn, that preview was near perfect. Looking forward to this. Still can't quite believe this whole thing has actually become a reality. Hope it is as good as the preview seems to make it and it is a big success.
It's on Youtube now, for those having difficulties viewing it: <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/JQykXOukM2Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I would never discourage a re-read, but if you run short on time the chapter summaries on Tower of The Hand are a good way to refresh your memory.
Nice! I'll probably re-read it. I love the series. You'd think I would have AGOT memorized after five reads, but time wears on me old brain.
THANK YOU! Very, very handy, since I doubt I'll have time to finish the first book before the show begins (I'm about halfway through).
Of course time is always a premium, but I was surprised at how fast I got through the book, and I don't normally read non-fiction. If you're halfway through, that should cover at least 3-4 episodes. For sure the first two episodes since they already have summaries out for those.
Just saw this and I'm absolutely psyched. Read a few columns of critics saying the first few episodes they've seen have been fantastic so far.
