For me this was one of the most memorable TV scenes in history:

The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 (hence my user-name). It was the beginning of the end of the Cold War with the collapse of Communism. My family and I lived in Berlin at the time, and I've never seen such a mix of extreme shock, happiness, disbelief, and anxiety again. The closest sensation minus the happiness would be the initial moments on the morning of 9/11.

    1989 was an incredible year.

Greatest 3 year stretch in American History, topping the Revolution War win.

Reagan signs the AMNESTY LAW, pardoning millions of illegal immigrants and allowing my parents to bring me to the U.S. to terrorize ClutchFans. :p

Nice pick. It reminds me I was trying to watch the whole series but I unintentionally stopped a few weeks ago.

I'll add in one generalization: cartoons. It's been discussed time and time again around here: Transformers, Robotech, Voltron, Thundercats, GI Joe, He-Man, etc.
