You couldn't tell who the crowd liked. That was a quiet boring match. Would have been fitting had it ended in a lame count out.
Damn I wanted the miz and cena to go on for another 20 minutes or something. It was over 2 minutes later. This could have been an iron match but they turned it into rock cleaning house.
LOL that was complete and utter shet.. so glad I didn't order it... Main event, two guys that can't wrestle with a babyface getting more heat than the Heel. Miz retains via countout. Rock comes in, crowd just confused, rockbottoms Cena for no good reason, Miz pins him, retains the title, so nothing changes. Rock goes back and beats the hell outta Miz for no good reason. Crowd does not know what to cheer anymore....EPIC fail...
They didn't have the moveset to last another 20 minutes. Undertaker easily wins match of wrestlemania yet again.
That has to be one of the worst Wrestlemanias I've ever seen. I'm sorry but even the Undertaker match paled in comparison to Rock vs Stone Cold/HBK vs Stone Cold from the WWF era. TBH the only amazing wrestlemania matches I've seen since then involved Undertaker and HBK.
The best part of that wrestlemania IMO was when the Rock was talking to that one girl backstage and Stone Cold showed up unexpectedly behind him. Speaking of Steve Austin, WTF happened to him. All he does now is drink beer and stun people. Definitely not the same presence he has 10 years ago.
Since we are having the older generation come out and whip younger generations butts, why not have Ox Baker come out and Heart Punch The Rock.
I thought it was a nice WM, not the best but certainly had it's moments. Undertaker/HHH was special but not quite either HBK matches. Orton/Punk was good but not great and Del Rio/Edge was also quite good. Crap like Snookie is stuff that kills it for me, why have that crap on the card at all and 8-man tag match was garbage considering all the talent in the ring. Cena/Miz was...interesting. Estatic Cena didn't walk away with the title but overall it was what I thought it would be. Miz can do nice things but he needs a wrestler in there not a showman like Cena. Cena has never been able to carry a match and having a young guy like Miz with him was a mistake. Rock did well and made the impact I'd imagine, setting up a super-match with Cena. I just hope they NEVER put him in a match with UT at a WM because we all know what would happen.
I was at the Rockets game, but then zoomed off to Nicks Place to watch it. I caught literally the very end of the UT/HHH match. and then the snooki bs. She did a flash elbow, and some other move. And that main event kinda sucked. I kept waiting. and waiting. and waiting. the best part was this guy down the table. I think he assumed Cena was going to win it after giving the briefcase shot. He even counted backwards. 3 - 2 - 1! and the miz kicked out. the look on his face was so hilarious.
HAHA...that was me at my house with my buds. I was ready to call it a night and then Miz kicked out, I nearly choked on my beer...completely and happily stunned.
