Apparently they had to bring out a wheelchair for Shaq because he couldn't make to the locker room. Not looking good for the big fella. If he is hurt badly this might be it.
Shaq had a right calf strain not achilles, just heard now. Good news. Uncertain if he will return to the game
They just announced it was NOT the Achilles, just a calf strain. But I don't think it's reasonable to think Shaq will be effective in the playoffs after so much time off.
The scary thing for them is there was no contact on the play that I could see. Boston putting their season in the hands of Shaq's health was definitely a headscratcher. Any news on Kristic?
Announcer just said right calf strain. Shaud, Krstic is day to day. His MRI came back negative. If you ask me, he is more important to the Celts than Shaq.
Celtics fans are not very high on Kristic, and rather have JO or Shaq play. He doesn't rebound, and doesn't play any defence, which is a big concern for the Cetlics.
I would ask these fans how they think an injury-prone, slow-as-molasses Shaq will do any good on either end of the floor. 15-20 mins/game from Shaq won't help much when they lose to the Heat in the 2nd round. After missing 27 games late in the season, he's on empty
