You don't like being called a tea party sister licker?

(Couldn't this guy just spend his money on a crap load of food, while moving the elephant out of there by some other means?)

"Corporate CEO takes part in regulated hunting project to cull non-endangered elephants that threaten native African villages. Poor people's crops are saved, and they eat free-range organic meat for weeks.

Confused liberal angst ensues: poor people didn't starve, but charismatic megafauna were killed for sport by a person with a socially unacceptable combination of external genitalia and inadequate skin pigmentation. Chanting of of the sacred words "privilege" and "imperialism" relieves social anxiety, and life goes on as usual."

The article did nothing to challenge anything I said. It was more BS from Parsons himself.

A slightly better try though. Fact is Parsons wanted to kill an elephant Bull for no other reason than some twisted desire to do so. He rationalized it to himself and others by putting the product of his twisted desires to some good use. You're gullible enough to buy into his BS, and it may hurt you and embarrass you and that you have been found to be so gullible.

As far as electric fences, they could use the same types of generators used elsewhere. Bottom line is they didn't need to kill the elephant, but Parsons couldn't wait to do so.

What kind of real hero spends so much giving himself PR as a hero unless he's covering something?

You may have also noticed that Elephants appear to remember where the elephants were killed for humans and come back for revenge. Parsons may have hurt the villagers long term with his selfish need to fill his twisted obsession. And you applaud him for it.

you actually looked that up? lol

all over a stupid mother ****er killing an elephant, and people wanting to defend that.

    lol

    what? p e o p l e

You think I think I'm smarter than you.

    Answer that....

...and then think whether or not you'd actually enjoy the company of a **** head CEO who told you this story about killing an elephant (Oh, he was right in my sights because he wasn't moving...I nailed that elephant with a big ass bullet...the fool didn't even move) while you were making him bbq at your house with his trophy wife waving...

    what? don't be so ****ing stupid p e o p l e

Do you guys practice overreacting, or does it just come naturally?

Parsons should not have taped himself killing an elephant, unless it was for his own personal viewing. The tape shouldn't have been released, in either case.

There also is very little reason for an American CEO to go to Africa to help "control" the elephant population.

    Other than that, who cares?

Instead of 60,000 elephants, now there are 59,999.

I love how a bunch of people that have only seen elephants at the zoo or on animal planet are suddenly experts on the feeding habits, relocation tactics, and humanity of elephants.

Go live in Zimbabwe and see if you like starving because an elephant is running around in your backyard.

And stop using the word "disgusting" to describe what Parsons did. Incest is disgusting. Scat p*rn is disgusting. Jersey Shore is disgusting.

At worst, Parsons' actions are just sad (assuming they make you sad).

I really don't see the big deal. This is far from the worst thing an American CEO has done. It's not even top ten. But he did it to an elephant, so people are posting with pelvic injuries because their panties are twisted too tight.

    let's keep this simple

If some rich ass dude showed up at your BBQ with is trophy wife and told you about his kill in Africa of an elephant and showed you pictures...would you say...

    ...cool story brah

    or not?

    I like simple.

I would ask him why he felt the need to kill an elephant before I started calling him disgusting or threatening to switch my service or any of the other overreactions I've seen in this thread.

Then I would bang his trophy wife (assuming he didn't have his elephant gun).

So the only possible way that could happen is a CEO and his trophy bring their big ass guns from across the oceans to shoot the elephant.

    There was no other way.

    dude rocks...

cool story brah...can I borrow your jet next weekend? I have a really hot date. She's Asian...and you know how they like Shark.

Not have a CEO from all the across the Atlantic to come all the way to Africa just to shoot an elephant.

Reread the article Rtsy posted. He's been doing this for 6 years and hunters are being called on.

I guess the main problem is who shot the elephant. This is not the first time an elephant has been killed because it was damaging human property or threatening human lives.
