Not all bacteria is bad bacteria, so no. Ants are not even bothering people, if you feel they are invading your home and being pest then yes. As for certain Ants that have endangered other species because of their dominance, that is just how things work unfortunately. As for ants damaging crops, then they gotta go. Also, ants as a collective are FAR...FAR from being mindless dumb insects. As for Elephants...People seem to underestimate the threat they pose to these villages. These are dangerous animals.
Regardless whether the "killing" was justified or not, actually posting a video of yourself doing it and celebrating is ridiculous. Shame people like this got rich
If that is the case, why get a CEO to kill the elephant, I am sure they r better people with much better aim and skill to kill the elephant. Thus is a BS reason they gave so godaddy'ceo can kill that elephant
He's got money and he's a retired Marine. Does being a CEO mean he is less qualified to be a hunter? Is this why people are outraged because a man known as the CEO of a company killed an elephant instead of someone who has the main title of professional hunter did it, even though these titles aren't exclusive?
There should be authorities in place to take care of this problem, and they should strive to do so in a humane way. Hunting them should be considered a last resort. And if an elephant does have to get shot down I think its sad, not something to be "enjoyed" on the internet.
I like to think that we as a human being have the ability to show compassion. If that elephant needed to be kill I would expect a pro to do it, how would you like it if someone you care about is on a deathrow and this super rich CEO that also happen to be a doctor wanted to do the deed but he hasn't done one in 20 years mix and administer the drugs to kill your love one,
Nope, I open multiple tabs and your post wasn't on there when I got to the end of the thread. Doesn't change my question one bit though.
The elephants didn't need to be shot to save any humans. That's BS, and I feel sorry for people naive enough to believe the CEO's pitiful excuse for getting his jollies killing an elephant. There are other ways to deal with the threat of elephants "stomping" on the crops. The CEO is a first class a-hole. I honestly have a hard time seeing how anyone could buy the CEO's excuse. He needed to rationalize his cruelty to himself, and others, and has tried to do so. It's just sad that some folks bought into his rationalization.
Stuff like this is evidence of the reason people get rich - they don't give a **** about anything except their own power-erections. Yeah, and the altruism thing is a typical move for a wealthy **** - "I did it for the people! Save the children!" (followed immediately by laying off workers, paying an immigrant meager wages for taking car of his children, etc.,.)
What a lovely community service. Thank you, Mr. Parsons, for personally finding an injustice of nature, travelling such a distance, and personally rectifying it with firearms. How is this his business? Its a justification of his indulgence of a violent human impulse that is destructive and really needs to be checked. Its the same impulse that those deranged soldiers from the 5th strykers carried out to a far more heinous, yet equally 'god complex'-ish extreme. They brought shame on a generally morally intact US military using the same logic board as this a*******. Thankfully, GoDaddy has little shame to part with. Questions like "am I really the person who needs to be making these decisions?" or "is this my business in the first place?" or "does being a CEO for a trashy American company qualify me for passing judgement and performing an act of vindication against an animal?" are probably called for. Dude is acting like this was charity. In related news, Bill Gates is going to Africa to personally conduct every fistula repair on African women in need of basic ObyGyn care on the continent. But first, he's going to kill some flamingos and ostriches because theyre mean. It was not his call.
I don't know if that was the case here, if this was an angry elephant...but there HAS been cases of elephants killing humans. These elephants do not stop, in fact there have been stories of them coming back to kill MORE humans making it almost routine. The other way to deal with this problem would be to kill it. If Parsons was not there the villagers would have tried to kill it eventually, but these are powerful creatures. You can't exactly stand in front of a wild Elephant and tell it to stop destroying your crops.
