Triple double tonight. I know he's on the Wizards, but that's still impressive. Coming off a 39 point performance against D-Wade, he puts up a triple double. Hawks gave this guy up too early...
Heck yeah. Jamal Crawford is sucking too and not only that they have the Wizards their first round pick this year and they got off the hook of the 6 million owed to Bibby. One of the worst trades I seen in awhile. You never give up on a young first round pick until at least 1 and a half season.
Nice game, and they won too. Unlike Blatche and McGees efforts. Well done Kiddo. They have something special in Wall and Crawford. Crawford and Wall are the only positive notes the Wizards can account for this season. Blatche, McGee and Young should be traded for another piece or two.
He is replacing Nick Young who was also putting up points. He is a way better playmaker than Nick Young though. They got a lot of young talent the question is can they put it together mentally.
He may be a better playmaker but he takes more shots than Nick Young. Crawford is for sure a volume shooter and the amount of shots he takes he better be putting up such numbers.
Yeah that is true. He is a rookie starting on a team that doesn't have a lot of offensive threats so I'm looking to see how he progresses once he settles down. The last 2 games have been very good for him.
The block he had on Davis tonight that lead to the fast break....seriously the guy took 3 steps in front of a ref then put the ball down to start the break and no call. Im sure it will be on youtube eventually. Just saw it as part of the top 10 on sports center.
This guy is gonna get himself overrated with big stats, but he is not that good. Takes way too many shots to get his points. He's just another Mike James.
If your trading a young guy with upside like that for a superstar then yeah I wouldn't have a problem with that. But what I meant to say is trading a young player for a vet with 6 or more years that don't have no upside. One example almost 10 years ago was the Rodney Rogers for Joe Johnson trade.
I just wanted to highlight the massiveness of FAIL Atlanta has laid with this trade. They've struggled so bad recently, that the pick they also traded in the deal is currently the 18th pick in the 2011 draft. The Wizards have basically turned the charity of taking on Hinrich from the Bulls into three first round picks from the last two seasons (17th-Seraphin, 27th-Crawford, 18th-TBD).
At this point the Wizards are basically doing with Crawford what they already did with Nick Young -- shoot away. Volume scorers are volume scorers. At the end of the day, it's important to keep that in mind. Might as well feature Blatche's 25-12 for the month of April while you're at it too.
OT question for DCKid: Is Flip gonna be fired or brought back? What do fans and the media in Washington think of him?
Yeah, he doesn't do anything particularly well and he's shooting under 40%. Reminds me of James Posey when he was on Denver - and he had to carve out a niche as a defensive specialist when he played on teams that mattered. Dajuan Wagner is another guy who got a lot of people excited putting up numbers on pre-LeBron Cavs.
