    "Many Rockets fans were eagerly hoping for a trade before the deadline that would bring Melo to the Rockets, however it did not happen. Yet, in one of the craziest turn of events in NBA history this morning, Melo has joined the Rockets despite being signed to the Knicks. Before signing with New York, Carmelo Anthony agreed that he would only sign if his contract stated that he would be able to change his mind if he so desired after 4 months if he was unhappy about joining New York. It turns out Carmelo is unhappy. He has been amazed with how well the Rockets are doing and would like to not only help the team make the playoffs this year, but also win the championship this year too. The Rockets faithful are extremely excited about Carmelo joining the team, but are also sad to see Hasheem Thabeet go to New York after acquiring him almost 2 months ago. Rockets fans should be extremely excited about their future, only time will tell if Carmelo can deliver his promise. Rockets fans have been losing faith for the past decade when Yao and T-Mac both promised championships, only to have them both go down with a multitude of injuries that have ultimately cost them their careers in basketball." -Ric Bucher on Sportscenter

    Aww give the guy a break. What we really need is for Clutch to bring back his awesome April Fools headlines. I would love to see some of the past headlines again. Time to check the archives and reminisce :cool:
