It was real classy of Bynum to try to end the careers of two players too. At least I'm just talk.

Well....I never criticized the Miami team being put together....and if they win I don't think I, and more importantly, you would mind very much. Again, championship teams don't just occur whenever great players are put together...give credit where deserved. You think there weren't people like you complaining when Jordan won his year after year?

And if you really Gasol, you wouldn't wish a career ending injury upon him...And guess what I'm sick of?

Miami wasn't given players for nothing. Those players were acquired in free agency. It's the same way the Lakers got Shaq.

Miami making the Finals would be OK because at least it's something new. The Lakers are there literally every other year. Doesn't that seem a little fishy?

And if LeBron wins multiple championships straight???? Would that be "fishy" as well...you wanna watch something that is absolutely devoid of any speculation?...go with curling my friend

If LBJ wins year after year with the media force-feeding him & the Heat down our throats, and opposing arenas cheering for them, yes, that would be annoying. It was annoying when the Bulls did and annoying when the Lakers did it (twice just in recent times). What makes sports interesting is competitiveness-- and every major league aside from the NBA has it. The reason the NBA doesn't is the soft salary cap, lack of regulation on trades, and a desire to put the marquee teams in the Finals every year. It is a joke.

First of all...even though the Heat aren't doing super awesome, they still ARE being shoved down our throats (with a little help from the players themselves might I add). Ooooo they cried, ooooooh Wade says the fanbase is getting what they wanted...ooooooo bosh wants more touches OOOOOOOOO.

Dude...seriously. I am very tolerant of hypocrisy...but there's a limit. Lemme ask you something. WHY are you posting on a ROCKets fan site using the screen name refering to the Clippers and making statements about how UNINTERESTING the sport you are so fervently "debating" about IS???
    Like I said...there's a limit

I'm just venting, dude. Put me on ignore if you dislike my posts so much. I did that to goodbug, redalertz, Rockets Pride, YaoZow, etc. and it has been SOOOO much better here.

I post here because there are some intelligent posters and the forum is well-run. I post on a Clipper board too, but I don't think you'd be interested in that discussion.

Yes, Miami is being hyped too much (they do have a good record though) and I expect it would get unbearable if they won a few titles and had bandwagon fans like the Lakers have for their whole existence. And that is exactly the problem. The Lakers are more annoying right now because we can see the inevitable title and the league is LOVING IT.

Barring injury to Gasol and/or Bynum of course. Crossing my fingers.

Honestly I don't know why you're venting...Sports is sports, and hating on great teams just because they are great makes no sense. them And no I don't care much for a badly run basketball organization in a city I haven't any affiliation with (I don't even care about the Lakers, quite frankly).

Thing is, I get the impression that you somehow think you are better than goodbug and company, and that your views are somehow less biased and more objective when they clearly aren't. As a posting fan at least (I'm not going to judge your person), you aren't, in MO, any different from the said posters.
    Hope you realize that

Of course I think I'm better than goodbug and co. Those guys are ****ing morons. At least I give a basketball take (when I'm not venting) instead of the RAH RAH BS they put out. But if you want to feel that is the same thing, then that says a lot more about you than me.

Goodbug gives basketball takes too...and I recall someone actually finding a stat about clutchness arguing in Kobe's favor. One: Proper fans of the game do not call players "Whiny little B*****"'s etc. Two: Venting is just a form of crude expression of actual, deep-down views. Three:......I give up.

Go ahead and form an opinion on me, I can care less. It's late, I'm going to bed.
Screw you, guy, I'm going home;)

Your feelings seem hurt. Relax, it's just a game. I'll put you on ignore now so you won't get butthurt.

Hopefully that Gasol and/or Bynum injury will happen. Keeping my hopes up!

    ^ hater

Just enjoy the game and never wish bad upon anyone...like you said karma's a b****.

Championship teams are there year after year because the deserve it. The spurs, lakers, and the celts. They go all out every game and deserve all the success...the spurs IMO are really boring team to watch do i like them? No but do i think they deserve all the success they have gotten? Yes, because they put in work just like the lakers and celts.
