    + Que En Paz Descanse la Reina de la Música Tejana. :( Sixteen years ago, we lost her.

    I had to pick up a friend from her work that day. We had seen Selena together numerous times here in Houston, and if you remember from the "famous celebrities you've met" thread, I had met Selena with my friend at the same event. We loved her music and her. She was special.

    After we each separately heard the news on TV and Radio on our respective places at work, we knew we'd see each other. When we did, we said no words, just hugged and let the tears come out. :( We loved her so much.

    do you agree that such hits as "bidi bidi bom bom" brought the downfall of tejano.Although, her earlier stuff is amazing

    The phonetic and English vs. Spanish sound of the title is incorrect, but it's still a catchy tune and the song was produced well.
    I agree, but then again, most of her stuff is good. :eek:

    Her role as Selena has been J-lo's best film where acting is actually involved. She was Ok in Anaconda only because she was in a wet tshirt throughout the entire movie.


    On Selena, I remember my mother crying when that happened. Selena made Tejano music cool.
