Yeah I'd rather have a random Euroleague fanboy be our GM, they should hire you immediately.

In before OHMSS pointing out Morey's incompetence and that he's wasting his time scouting Llull, who most definitely is a SG, not a PG. ;)

Who gives a **** what Morey is doing?
Judge him on the trades and drafts that he makes. Don't judge him based on the way he scouts cause for all I care, I'm glad he is out scouting and not home doin nothin.

I don't even understand what it is I'd be making excuses for. We don't know who the Rockets are interested in, they're not going to advertise it, so it makes zero sense to criticize them for not scouting a particular player when we don't know who they are scouting.

Using logic on troll = Fail.

Some other poster tried it before when he said if there were really all these amazing Euro ballers no one has heard about why aren't they playing in the NBA, or at least blowing up in Worlds or something, and it just passed through him like water through a sieve.

You seem to believe that all of the best players on the planet are in the NBA. You seem to believe that anyone that is good would be in the NBA. You seem to believe that it is impossible for any player to be good and not be drafted and be on NBA radar.

In other words, your knowledge of basketball is incredibly small.

Probably because coaching is one of our strengths right now. DM isn't stupid. He knows Adelman is a great coach and doing a great job with what he has to work with.

I spent ten minutes trying to figure out what OHMSS could stand for, when I realized I might get banned for posting my thoughts.

This is a person that is just here to piss people off. What surprises me is not that he's here, but that we don't get more of this sort of thing.

So anyone that knows more about basketball other than just Houston Rockets games is a troll? Right.

I think its reasonable to assume the best players in the planet are in the NBA. Euro player X or Euro play U might be better than most NBA players, or maybe even be better than most all stars, however I have a hard time believing there is some unknown Euro player out there better than the best players in the NBA like LBJ, DH, Dirk or Durant.

The NBA is the ultimate league in the world; everybody who knows b-ball knows about it, it is the most famous, and its top player make the most money and get the biggest endorsements, unless some Euro clubs out there pay their players more than 20M$ a year. If there are several god-like Euro players out there, I have a hard time believing the NBA wouldn't have known about it, they would have blown up in the Olympics or something right about now.

    Obviously.

The NBA has the best scouts in the world, the best players in the world, and it is not remotely close.

    Don't feed the troll...

NBA contracts are listed in gross money. Taxes come out of those listed pay amounts. Also, the player's have to be their agent fees themselves. So that $20 million contract you are talking about is an imaginary figure. It is nowhere near to that in reality.

You mean basketball players have to pay taxes? The money for their agent fees come out of their own pockets??? Wow, these are some startling revelations.
