Love and Lowry would actually deserve it since they have gotten better without a spike in usage.

Aldridge did have a spike in usage.

Fair enough. I said Brook's winning last year wouldn't be the *determining* factor against Lowry. I do believe it hurts him to some degree, but other strong performances around the league probably matter more. There is surely no way that it helps.

Bad logic, LA is legit but I agree Love and Lowry are 1st and 2nd, I would make Lowry the winner if he leads us to the playoffs.

Aldridge is legit but that doesn't mean he's actually improved more than Lowry and Love, if he's improved at all.

He is "the man" in Portland, without him stepping up they don't make the playoffs, let alone as the possible 6th seed in the western conference. As Leebigez once said, Aldridge has more talent than anyone we have right now, and he took it to another level this year.

The numbers don't show he's taken it to another level, outside of a spike in usage and slight increase in scoring efficiency.

You're missing the whole point about usage.

I think if we would have won that last game against PHI he would been a lock for the award. But he still deserves it.

This is a guy that I dont want to trade. He is too inexpensive for his quality. His Contract(http://www.shamsports.com/content/pages/data/salaries/rockets.jsp) is lovely for a Player of his Caliber and potential. And he's only going to get better and better!

I like the quotation from Avery "Little General" "Johnson."

Kyle Lowry wins Most Improved Player

If Kyle Lowry wins Most Improved Player... that would be funny wouldn't it. I don't think a team has ever had two consecutive MIPs.

MIP is the kiss of death. I'd rather him not win it. That way, he would play like a MIP for the years to come.

kyle lowry should get MIP because he brought the team back on track when we started off bad in the beginning of the season. i doubt kevin love will win it because he didn't get his team anywhere and they'll also be looking for players who helped there team.
