I know its a bit early to start this thread because its not offseason just yet...Any Basketball players/coaches that should consider by the end of this season?

Phil Jackson has already announced he will retire, Rick Adelman might be retiring if Les don't want him to stay any longer since he is getting to old (64).

    Shaq?
    Grant Hill?
    Jason Kidd?
    ..etc.

The only player, I want him to retire is
    Dirk Nowitzki
Because I frkn hate the Mavs:mad:

Shaq and Camby cant stay healthy and should retire.

Juwan Howard and Theo Ratliff are useless and should absolutely retire.

Antoine walker and Jerry Stackhouse should give up any hope of coming back and should offically retire.

Kidd and Fisher are slowing down way too fast this season and should think about not coming back next season. Joe Smith can be added to this category as well.

McDyess/K.Thomas/B.Wallace still look like they can play another season after this.

Nash and Hill are still putting up solid numbers.

Even if I don't want him to, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Yao.

I have heard Kevin Garnett may consider retiring after this season if he doesn't feel like his body can take it anymore...

He would be a legend among Rockets fans if he did.

But there's too much money on the table. He's gotta grab a few more million over 3-4 years if he can.

Most of Boston Celtics starting squad. Travis Outlaw, Ericka Dampier and Greg Oden to name a few.. I'm sure there are plenty of unknown players out there who never got it going either.

FYI Grant Hill is having a breakout year.. He still has a few years left.

Jerry Stackhouse is already retired, I saw him on NBA TV
Antonio Walker is in D-League (He probably play there for the rest of his career)

Grand Hill want to re-sign with the Suns

I'm still not convinced this is Phil Jackson's last year.

Ilgauskas will probably retire, same with Magloire. Brad Miller should do us a huge favour and call it quits.

I'd hate to turn this thread into a Kobe lovefest, but these topics of discussion really emohasize Kobe's greateness. I know he isn't as old as other players mentionrd here, but his longavity and yhr amount of years that he has played at the highest level is rarely matched. I look at other players like Carter and Mcgrady, and Kobe was still at his peak when those players were at their peaks. But Kobe is still playing at near peak levels while those two players are done within a few years. Carter and Mcgrady are only 2 examples. I could name a lot more players like them.
