I hope the Lakers don't catch San Antonio. I'd like to see the Rockets face the Spurs.

I bet you Memphis wins one of the games against GS/NO.

I'll bet it's the Golden State game.

Ya, but in this scenario we would get 7th seed while still being tied with NO.

Tony Allen has always performed when given minutes. I remember he started a couple of games for Boston and he played great as well.

    Houston Rockets
[rquoter]Playoffs don't much matter for a team looking toward the future. That's what happens when you trade Aaron Brooks and Shane Battier at midseason; you send a signal. Their chances for the postseason are remote, with games against the Hornets, Spurs and Mavs still to come. Their defense is poor (104 points a game) and they're chasing a hot Memphis team for the final spot. Finally, Kyle Lowry must finish on a bum ankle.

Better the Rockets continue to see what they have in Lowry, who has looked strong lately, Chuck Hayes, Chase Budinger and Patrick Patterson. They already know what Luis Scola can do, and while he may not make the Rockets forget Yao Ming, he's someone healthy enough to build around, which Yao wasn't. Given the Yao issue and the turnover the Rockets made this season, Rick Adelman has done a typically decent job and deserves to be back.[/rquoter]

Freaking Heat. How did we catch the big three's best performance of the season and they go lose to the Cavs the very next game. C'MON MAN!

That's the differnce between playing in Miami and and a hostile crowd in Cleveland (with bad karma). LeBron even hid in and didn't show up in the player introductions last night.

aren't the big 3 out of commission? that'd be insane if that were the case going into the playoffs and the Rockets snagged that 8th spot.

    ultimate upset potential...

Not like it really matters, but the Suns lost to the Kings. Gotta win out. Should be very interesting.

We're 3 games behind New Orleans. Hornets will play the Grizzlies twice and once against us. They also have Portland and Dallas on their schedule. Not to mention a dangerous Pacers team who's also competing for a spot in the East. If we can go 8-1 (now 1-0) in our final 9 games, we will get in the playoffs.

Crucial games for us tomorrow. We are playing Philly and K-Low has a bum ankle. GSW came off a tough loss in OT and are will be tired in their game against the Grizlies. Portalnd and NOLA game should be close.

    Rockets vs 76ers = 76ers win
Warriors vs Grizzlies = Grizzlies win
Blazers vs Hornets game = Blazers win

Our best shot at getting in is if the Hornets lose to the Grizzlies twice and we beat them. That could be our key to getting into the playoffs.

Also kyle is from Philly.....if I recall correctly he played very well back home last year. However, to me this is the most dangerous game that we have left IMHO.

Actually sad for chris paul, but happy because he is so being traded/leaving NOLA.

DAvid west is a free agent I believe too, so i'm sure if West walks, or doesn't get signed, cp3 is joining a stud.

Don't forget about their game against Portland tonight. If they lose that, then lose twice against Memphis, our game against them could be for all the marbles.
